Questions & Answers

How long will the battery last if there is plenty of sunlight?

I imagine it could charge itself almost indefinitely if it was only telling time. If you use the GPS or the pulse oximeter on a regular basis, the battery will be depleted quickly. I wear this watch every day (and work indoors) and it lasts nearly THREE WEEKS between charges with full functionality when I don't use the features. When it's on the verge of dying, it switches to time-only mode and continues to run for another three days. This leads me to believe, as I previously stated, that it is only a matter of time? I believe it could charge itself solely by absorbing sunlight. It is impossible to overestimate the value of this watch.

Is there a touch screen on this wristwatch?

No, there is no touch screen on the Tactix.

Do you have sapphire in this taxric delta solar?

Power sapphire is included in the solar. Which is actually gorilla glass sandwiched between two power lenses.

What is sapphire glass, exactly, and how scratch resistant is it?

The Mohs hardness scale for sapphire glass ranges from 8 to 10. Diamonds are rated a ten on a scale of one to ten. Only other diamonds can scratch a diamond. Hopefully, this has given you some insight.

I was underwhelmed by the experience
3/5

Too many people, in my opinion, give products such high ratings without actually using them. If you're going to spend $1200 on a watch, don't wait until it's out of the box to review it. I've had this watch for a few months and I must say, for the price, I'm disappointed. I bought it for the following reasons: br>br>Its primary and sole purpose: Heart rate, sapphire crystal (because I work in a blue collar environment where dirt, dust, high chlorine water, herbicides, and insecticides are all corrosive), and solar power (because I don't want to charge a watch on a regular basis). Five days a week, I am outside all day. br>br> So, while I type this review, I'm charging my watch. The battery life is less than 21 days when only the most basic features are used. I simply keep the HR monitor on all the time, with no GPS or pulse oximeter. The band on the watch is awful. It's made of flexible silicone, and if you put it on too tightly the first month, it'll cause an itchy rash. If you're wearing it in the shower, remove it and wash it thoroughly to remove any soap residue. You'll get a nasty soap rash if you don't do so. br>br>If you're looking for precise altitude measurements based on your GPS location, this watch isn't for you. I'm not sure where Garmin gets its altitude measurement maps, but they don't match anything I have in my area based on actual elevation land studies conducted by our local government and other altitude apps. br>br>I am not confident in the heart rate monitor because it is inconsistent with other methods of measuring heart rate, such as chest straps or finger pulse oximeters. I was most interested in the calorie burn calculations in the Garmin app and software. To keep track of my progress, I compare it to my weekly calorie intake. Despite the fact that it is incorrect, I believe it is consistent. br>br>Notifications are the watch's only benefit. My hands are always filthy, and I can never seem to get my phone out of my pocket quickly enough. It's great for screening calls or determining whether a text requires me to take a break from my current task. You have a limited number of responses to choose from, but you can create your own. However, for the price, it should be capable of making phone calls and texting in the same way that an Apple Watch does. br>br>I don't find the watch to be very intuitive, and the operating system could use an update. The same can be said for the app, as it contains a great deal of junk that I never use. It needs to be more adaptable to my wants and dislikes. br>br>This watch gets a "hot blonde" rating from me. She looks great, and everyone is envious that you have it, but she's mostly useless aside from a few features, and she's not cheap. I give it three stars if you have $1200 and are as impulsive as me.

For the value of the options, the price is excessive
3/5

It was overpriced for what it could do, so I returned it.

It's far superior to the Apple Watch or the Fitbit
5/5

Only charge this once every two weeks, according to the rules. It appears to track health metrics more accurately than Fitbit and is unquestionably more attractive than any Apple Watch. While hunting, I've used the GPS and maps, and they've proven to be extremely useful. I haven't had a chance to use the ballistics app yet, but I am completely satisfied with this watch.

I only wore it for a couple of hours because I have a small build and a small wrist
5/5

I'm 5'9" and weigh around 150 pounds. During the few tests I did, the watch was fantastic and accurate. It looked like a frisbee on my arm, no matter how much I wanted to keep it. It's a colossal colossus of a creature I preferred it to my Apple Watch 6, but it made me look like a complete moron when I wore it. It's a fantastic watch for those who can pull it off, but it's a bit much for small guys like me. Fortunately, the return was easy and quick. This is especially true for a watch of this caliber.

This is a fantastic watch
5/5

I have a lot of watches, and this one is by far the best, with an incredible battery life. The always-on display is extremely clear and crisp. The step counter is also extremely precise.

The best timepiece I've ever had
5/5

So far, this is the best watch I've owned. It should last a long time, in my opinion. br>br>Update: 12th of October, 2021 I believe I've owned this watch long enough to provide a more thorough review. br>br>When in battery save mode, the battery life is incredible. I'm referring to a simple 80-day plan. Given how much time I spend in the sun, I'm almost 90 years old. BUT. Only by setting it to "Time Only" mode will you be able to get that kind of battery life. Which is basically battery save mode with everything turned off. br>br>I keep my watch in battery-saving mode with the HR sensor turned on for everyday use. In the absence of sunlight, the battery is expected to last 67 days. br>br>One thing to keep in mind when solar charging your watch. If you use battery saver mode and have 100% solar power. It is going to take three days. 4 hours to increase by 1% in time in time in time in time in time% I get through 1 battery charge with my current battery setting. Daily battery consumption of 2 battery consumption of 2 It's possible that this varies from one user to the next. br>br>I feel compelled to mention that I frequently use NFC payment and it has had only a minor impact on battery life. br>br>I'll update this if anything unusual occurs.
