If no cell service is available, the Cube GPS will record its location via satellite and report it when a cellular connection becomes available.
The device comes with a USB charging cable.
It does not come with a special collar, so I had to order collar attachment clips from the cube site to make it fit. I was able to get the collar to fit after that. It cost $24 to purchase.
IP67 (waterproof for half an hour at a depth of one meter).

I bought it because I have a runner of a pet. It already helped when she got out of the house and decided to run around the neighborhood before I could put on my shoes. Definitely a good investment. I never expected to be the one to receive one, but we recently lost a dog shortly after Christmas, and my children would be unable to cope if we lost another.
This isn't at all accurate, in my opinion. My dog will be sleeping in the same room as me, and I will receive a notification that he has escaped the confines of the yard. It showed he had traveled five miles and back one day. At home, he was present with me. I'm not pleased with myself.
Cube's auto-update feature is still on. ! Not to be overlooked! br>Even if you choose the month-to-month option, the results will be the same. The company will continue to auto-renew your service after a month has passed. It's a good-sized device, neither too big nor too small. It has a good amount of weight to it as well. It's not too heavy, but it's also not too light that it feels fragile, and I expect it to last for a long time because it feels high-quality. It isn't a low-cost material. It was relatively simple to set it up and subscribe to the service. So far, I've had it in two states, both of which were relatively close together. My precise address is displayed at home. The address across the street is displayed at my mother's house. I am confident in my ability to rely on it. I had a great time with the customer service department as well.
If you really want to track it when it's outside of your phone's bluetooth range, I wouldn't buy it. This device reports its location by using your phone's GPS via bluetooth. If you disable location permissions on your phone, you'll get an error message. The device is in a different country, as evidenced by its location. If MY location services are turned off, it shows it is in Africa, even though I live in the United States. It makes the phone's location services "always allow," and then uses that instead of GPS. I'm not sure if it's because the creators want to keep an eye on us. Or it could be that they don't want it to use the GPS service that we pay for. (If it isn't connected to the phone's location services, it will occasionally provide locations, but not enough to locate the unit. ) )br>br>Also, "live" tracking is rarely available. Both your phone and the device appear to need to be connected via bluetooth. the exterior It must be moving in order to provide real-time tracking. If it's warm enough outside, It will not offer "live" if you are moving and inside. This is a complete waste of time.
This sleek black GPS device appears to be of excellent quality and fits comfortably on our dog's collar. We wanted to be able to track her in case she got out of the yard, so we signed up for the service; the map is very clear, and we always know where she is, even when she's in the yard; as an added bonus, we can track her walks as we take her around the neighborhood, which is also a lot of fun.
I was concerned when the description stated that it should not be mounted under metal, etc. , but it never lost signal and tracked in real time exactly as described, and we had it mounted under the back seat of a vehicle without a sunroof. A week's worth of battery life was typical.
I haven't set up the app yet, but I intend to have my grandson carry it with him when he goes dirt biking so that I can track him if he doesn't return on time; this would also be useful for dementia patients to track them if they go missing.
