It has been part of my daily routine to transfer photos from 32, 64, 128 and 256 MB Sandick SDHC and CF memory cards to my iMac computer for almost a year. I have always been satisfied with how well it has been built and maintained.
Hello friend, please note that the SD card reader uses a USB port, not a USB C port. My apologies for the delay in responding to

There is no problem with the construction since it has a permanently attached cord, and it works as advertised, transferring data at fast speeds through Port 0 (SP3) is not connected to the computer. There was no problem reading the Lexar SDXC U3 cards that I tested it was the same with any others I tried. A bit rate of seven megabytes per second. The same 36 files were copied to a folder on my SP3 way too fast for the transfer speed to be read. There is only one oddity in this reader, and that is that SD cards must be inserted face down when the label is facing up, but I guess that was the only way they could keep its thickness and cost low. As long as I had up to three different cards inserted at one time, it recognized and displayed them all appropriately with their own drive letters.
Occasionally you would be able to remove the card and re-insert it if you removed it and reinserted it enough. Thus, I researched the firmware update on the manufacturer's website and downloaded it. Even after the firmware of the card reader was updated, it continued to show up as four drive letters in 'My Computer' as it did before, but the card itself did not show up no matter how many times you reinserted it. As a matter of curiosity, I hooked it up to the Windows 10 laptop and while it showed up in Device Manager, it was not able to read cards, nor did it show up in "My Computer" Having spent so much time on this 14, I have wasted a great deal of time. It was a $50. 00 POS card reader, and I might as well take a hammer and a blow torch to it, so that I can get some satisfaction for my investment.
Nowadays almost everything has wireless sharing capabilities, so it makes me wonder why we even have a need for it. Although the effort was worthwhile, it was not easy. This was for two reasons 1) my laptop's SD card reader was causing problems, showing some SD cards quickly and others not with any frequency and 2) I purchased a new DSLR and taking the SD card out of the camera This little dongle does exactly what it says by being plug and play. Plug it in and go straight to your business. No drivers, no software. I've tested this with various brands of SD cards, micro sd cards, and even a Sony memory stick (don't judge, it's an old camera that still works and still.
After upgrading from a MacBook Pro that had an SD card reader on the side to an iMac with an SD card reader on the back, I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. There is nothing more irritating than putting the reader on the back. Since I need to move my iMac in order to get to that port, I needed something My search for an RSS reader ended up on this reader after a lot of searching. In my opinion, it is the best I've ever used after about four weeks. Specifically, I wanted the following This is *br1. Ideally, a USB 3 mini cable with a built-in port (I find the USB 3 mini connection unreliable). The reader must be able to read both SD and CF cards. It has to be a USB 3*4 cable. The device must be able to be used with UHS SD cards (UHS II would be nice, but not essential. )
This device meets In terms of card slots, I have used both the SD and CF slots. It is a little annoying to have the SD card slot upside down, but not a huge issue. It fits nicely in the CF slot. So far, I have not had problems with bent pins. It can also be used to transfer photos from my iPad to my computer when using the Apple Lighting to USB 3 adapter. There is a need to use the adapter that includes a lighting cable input, so the iPad can receive enough power to run this app. It was an excellent purchase in general.
You should consider this card reader for anyone who uses an iMac! I realized that most often I had to pull my laptop forward and turn it, just so I could insert or remove my old memory card reader. This reader with the usb cable makes life so much easier. So far, it has also proven to be very fast. It's true that I only took short video clips to test this, but it was instant to transfer video with the USB This is a very good product, and I would recommend it to others.
was able to use this reader without any problems, and I found it very comfortable to use as well. When I used several ports simultaneously ) and had no trouble at all switching files between There is even a cap that goes over the usb port B)0*0*0 -.
attest to the fact that the device does what it's supposed to do, and that it's able to read multiple cards from the reader without any issues. One thing I'm not able to test is the CF slot as I've forgotten where mine is since I haven't used one in a while. In the event that I do discover it, I will post it There is only one thing I could say about the negative aspect of this device I would prefer it to be a bit smaller, but I understand it is an all-in-one reader as well. Since the CF pins can be bent, I would still be careful inserting this area into the reader, even though I have not tested this. Since this mainly had to do with the MS slot, I purchased it for personal use. ) and needed someone to read it. A long-term project It will probably last a little while, if it does at all.
