The company probably ran out of the item and will order it from China, but they have to keep a record of anything you purchased
It can be used on the Vita of the first generation
That's not the case with mine. It was recommended in a tutorial that I get the FunTurbo one.

Although I'm very happy with this product, there are a couple of "catches" to it that you should be aware of. Then you can either use custom firmware (enso) or the H-Model To make use of this adapter, you'll need to have Encore. Following the installation process, you must set up your microSD card in order to take advantage of it. Videos on the You Tube channel of 'Tech James' were most helpful to me. In addition, the second thing to consider is, where the adapter is placed. It is commonly assumed that this simply converts micro SD cards to the Sony memory stick format I came to the same conclusion too. These adapters rely on the slot for a game card, which I found quite intriguing. Since I mostly play digital games, this may not be an issue, but if you own a lot of physical games, this can be a big deal. My friends, I wish you the best of luck.
According to the product description, it is unclear if this adapter is for the memory card slot or for the game cartridge It cannot be used out of the box because of the nature of the algorithm. A non-profit organization Vita that has been modded. Therefore, I still stand by my assertion that the product description is misleading.
It wouldn't read the microSD I had so I triple checked everything and after a few hours it occurred to me that the adaptation had a broken pin inside. Checking elsewhere will be my next step.
This one inserted the card easily. I've tested it on my PS Vita and it works just fine. The results are so far good, but it is too soon to tell. It is an inexpensive alternative to Sony's proprietary memory cards, which colossally failed. It's a lifesaver to have this adapter! I tried poking and jiggling the micro sd card into the first one I received. It wouldn't take it. I jiggled, prodded, and tried to insert it. It's not going to work. The original was returned and a new one was sent. If I had just bad luck with a defective device, I will update.
I could not get it to work on PS Vita.
I bought one on eBay and it didn't work, then I bought this one, and now, it does work! I am very pleased with it! There is a thing that seems to be true when they say that it may come good or bad at times. You must follow the videos on the YouTuber you like. The video is true in all, but if you don't get the SDVIA to work, don't assume it's that one. Look for broken or bad SDVIA. Since I've used another one and have seen other opinions in the comments, I am stating this because of my experience and what I see in the coments finally I have found the best adapter for the ps Vita.
The memory bank function of the PS Vita game cartridge slot is as desired. I believe you will need a modded Vita and you will need to edit the config files in your Tai folder to convert the sd storage.
Adapter 1 fails to boot the Vita, whereas adapter 2 works. This is the third one I have purchased Although they seem similar, it is obvious that they are not exactly the same. In this case, the vita shuts down after startup, as it is the only one that fails. This card does not work with the other two vendors so I know I followed the proper steps to obtain it. DO NOT order from them.
