The DATA receptacle on a Yaesu FT857/897 ham transceiver will accept this cable. It's unlikely that you'll need to use a small knife to trim the plug's plastic outer portion; this isn't the cable's fault. The Yaesu receptacle is set back quite a bit. Pin to pin continuity on all six pins has been confirmed. I'm using this cable to connect to an external WSJT-compatible device. The X interface unit is a homebrew interface unit. This is far more convenient than purchasing only the DIN connectors and soldering your own cable to the tiny pins.
Since around 2003, I've been to 52 different countries. The USB Male-to-Female The male that came with it would no longer hold on or register unless it was perfectly in place. br>br>On Day 1, this one is a perfect fit. It registers as working a little before it's fully inserted (the joystick's lights illuminate to indicate it's in), and it doesn't slip. I got it a little bigger than I needed it to allow me to route the cord however I want it. I'll have to wait and see how it performs over time, but it's already a step forward.
891 is an excellent example. To make my own radio soundcard, I cut this in half. There is no need to remove any of the port housing because it fits perfectly into the port. In addition to the data ground, the cable has a bare shield ground wire that runs the length of it. Inside, the wires were thin but easily stripped, it took jst connector crimps fine and didn't break or anything, and it appears to be a decent cable for the price. 73 KN4YRM.
DIN-8800R to Masters Communications 8800R to Masters Communications 8800R to Masters Communications 8800R to Winlink gets a score of six. This is a great way to connect my Yaesu FT-100. The 8800R is connected to a Masters Communications modem via a DIN-type connector. There are six adapters. For Winlink Packet and VARA FM modes, I strongly suggest it. I purchased two; one is connected to the rig in the car, and the other is connected to the rig on my desk.
I've had the Saitek X52 for quite some time, and it was gathering dust until Microsoft Flight Simulator came out. Unfortunately, the PS/2 DIN6 cable that connected the throttle to the stick was nowhere to be found. br>br>Only disadvantage - I wrapped the extra length of the cable in a velcro strap because the length of the cable that was available for immediate shipping was longer than I needed.
I purchased a male to male cable. There are two labels on the package: one says male to male, and the other says male to female, but the cable is male to female. I am going to return it.
This was purchased to replace a cable on a Saitek joystick that had become detached. I wasn't sure if it would work, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed.
This is the source of power for a Saitek HOTAS. It does its job, but I prefer the length of the cord because it doesn't make me nervous that it will unplug from my controller due to tension. Why not buy this cable if you require this type of cable?.
