When this cable works, it works as it should, but my unit had a flaw that prevented it from making proper contact at certain angles. This behavior can be seen on cables that have been in use for a long time, but it was also the case when the cable was first installed. By using a different converter, I was able to confirm that it was this adapter. br>br>I don't want to speculate too much, but I'm wondering if this type of flaw could result in equipment damage, given that PS2 keyboards aren't designed to be hot plugged.
My PS/2 Model M is connected to a Compaq 386/20 and works flawlessly.
That is . The item is well-made and long-lasting. As a result, I gave it four out of five stars. But there's a catch: the pins aren't numbered. Testing each pin to ensure it matches the pin outs of the unit you're using is required. Mine doesn't, and it didn't work for me, but it's not entirely due to the adapter's fault. I'd have to get a new adapter with adjustable pins.
It was delivered quickly and functions correctly. I'm at a loss for words. A+ in every way.
The item arrived quickly and appears to be in good working order.
As stated previously.
The PS/2 keyboard worked with the old 5 pin connector. performs its function.
It did exactly what it said it would do. There are no problems.
