I'm impressed with how well it works. I bought this because my partner recently surprised me with an ipad pro, and I didn't see the point in spending $120 on an apple pencil when the 3rd gen is rumored to be on the way. This stylus is comfortable to use, attractive to look at, charges quickly, and magnetically adheres to the side of my MacBook Pro! That's a great idea, but it's worth noting that the stylus does not charge when it's magnetically charged. connected to the ipad in the same way that the apple pencil is with certain models. Nonetheless, it is not a major concern for me. br>br>IN A SNAPSHOT: br> Well-balanced, and simple to charge (via USB). c cable connected to my computer, or any of the power adapters i have lying around)br>easy to turn on and off, just a quick "touch" on the back/eraser-board)br> The end of the stylus is indicated by a blue light, and this activation is indicated by a blue lightbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br 9-inch iPad Pro with the most recent operating system (iOS 14. 2). 4 when this review was written)br>- My only criticism is that the USB-C port is not located on the right side of the device. A tiny removable rubber "plug" covers the c charging port on the stylus, which I'm afraid of losing. Instead, I'd prefer a small "sliding" protective port door. But, hey, what do you expect from a first-world problem? br>br>Excellent stylus for the iPad, plus it comes with two extra tips! If you ask me, it's hard to beat that price.
To be clear, this product is an excellent replacement for the Apple Pencil. It will automatically reject your palm after a seamless pairing. The on/off switch, however, is pressed against the top of the pencil with your finger. Now, while this appears to be a cool new technology, it appears to be a little sensitive in practice, meaning it's easy for it to turn on when you don't want it to, and it's also easy to turn off while you're using it. When given the option, I prefer my other Pencil, which has a physical on/off switch. Aside from that, it's a fantastic deal and a solid pencil. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. 8/5.
This is my third attempt at using a knockoff pencil. It fulfills all of its promises. It simply will not stay in place. I can be drawing away, but if I stop for a moment to think about what I'm doing, it stops. I thought I was doing something wrong in the app until I noticed the pencil's power had gone out. Because it is inconvenient, it is likely to be returned. I'm going to go buy an Apple Pencil and call it a day.
I needed something more precise than the old-school stylus pens with a larger tip, but I didn't want to spend the money on Apple's pencil after spending $700 on my iPad and accessories. This is where the pen comes in. PROS: br>br> Obviously, there is the price. The pink is absolutely adorable. It charges with the same connector as my iPad mini (which is great because I'd already misplaced the small charge cord that came with it), and it allows me to freehand write notes/items in my planner app, use coloring book apps with more precision, and so on. The magnetic feature that allows you to stick the pen to the side of the iPad is handy, but it's not meant for doing so if you're packing the iPad away or traveling with it; the magnetic connection isn't strong enough to The shape and length of this pencil/pen are standard, so it's just like holding the real thing! Also excellent is the battery life. I received the pen six days ago and have been using it on the battery charge that came with it until today, when I charged it for the first time. CONS: br>br> The power "button" on the pen's top is so sensitive that even accidentally touching it will turn it on or off. I've also noticed that after a short period of time, the pen shuts itself off. When it's just one of those "tap" to color a spot in my coloring book app, it can be frustrating. After a while, it's almost as if the pen loses track of how much it's being used and shuts down. The small rubber plug that protects the pen's charge port doesn't stay in very well after being removed the first time, which is why I gave it four stars. If you don't want to buy the Apple version, it's still a good deal.
