This worked well in my old computer case built in 2008, which I had built myself
5/5

With two USB 3. 0 ports on the front panel, this tray is convenient. An Ethernet port and three USB ports are provided. It’s perfect for my computer case I built back in 2008. Thanks to the cut out, my case fits just right. Despite its age, my old computer still performs perfectly, but doesn't have any USB ports. This port is not available. A USB HDD and thumb drive with USB 3 support recently came into my possession Since my PC has 0 expansion slots, I purchased a PCIe expansion board and this front panel to update it. The panel appears to be made of plastic, but it seems to be I also had a 3-inch display in my previous PC. Card reader with a 5" display. In this front panel is the card reader, which fits I can reach my USB 3. 0 port at the back of my tower case with the cable and connector long enough to reach from the front of my tower case. This PCIe card is the only one Originally designed for USB 3 cards, the 20 pin connector on the back of the card fit snugly into the port on the front of the card used for the header of other USB 3 cards. A total of 0 connectors are present. Please note There are actually 19 pins on the connector as well as the card, which is described as 20 pins. An extra pin is missing on the card, and on the plug, there is one pin that is broken The reason for this is to ensure that the plug is inserted correctly, plus the card has a slot and the plug has a raised edge so it can only be inserted one way. If you are using an expansion card, I highly recommend connecting the front connector to the card before plugging the card into the PCIe slot so that it is easier to put the plug into the card. The first time I tried this, I inserted the plug in the PCIe slot while the card was in it and bent a pin (which I then fixed). In addition, insert the plug from one side to the other rather than straight in, so that you can feel the pins being inserted in order to prevent pins from being bent. It was an easy DIY project that updated my PC in any case. As a matter of fact, my PC is built around a 2008 ASUS LX-380 With an Intel Quad 4 processor, a 2 Series motherboard is the perfect choice This means you have 4GB of In a PCIe X16 slot, I installed a VisionTek ATI HD 5450 graphics board as well. USB 3. 0 is the third generation of USB. The PCIe X1 slot is occupied by 0 cards. running the latest version of Windows 10 64bit at this time. There are no third-party drivers for these devices and they are all native Windows 10 drivers.

The manufacturing tolerances in my motherboard made it possible to rip the header
3/5

The first time I plugged it into my (brand-new) AM4 motherboard, I was not satisfied with the way it set, so I went to pull it out to check if it was damaged. Apparently the connector's keepers/tabs were not built to the correct tolerances and now I have to nervously attempt to put the socket back on the motherboard without damaging it further, file down the connector to be used, and cross my fingers that nothing else about it is questionable. The product doesn't meet my needs. It is disappointing, I really thought I would be able to plug and play it while fitting the niche.

A brittle plastic product is likely to break
3/5

My experience with this purchase was very disappointing. There are tiny tabs on both the larger and smaller front plates of the converter to secure them to the base. However, the Bay Converter is made from very brittle plastic. Plastic packaging was used, so small bits of plastic fell out upon opening the package when it was received. There were tabs attached to the front plate that held it in place. There were three options available to me You can either (1) return the item as broken, (2) epoxy the front panel to help it stay in place, or (3) toss it. When I looked at a 3, I was surprised at how well it worked. If I glued the converter faceplate back on and the gaps around the 3. 25'' card reader, the 5" card reader will fit the 3. 25'' card reader. It was amazing how big the openings were. I, therefore, simply tossed it away and used another product that was packaged in a box and is a solid piece. It is not advisable to buy this item and I suggest that you find an item that is built better (solid), packaged better, and designed to fit a three better. It is a 5" device in a 5" body. There is a 25" bay available.

The bay is good for this The ordinary 5 plastic is what is being discussed here
4/5

a bay sled of 25 inches. My goal was to acquire a different one from "the other one" that is so common. I purchased this one from Vantec. There are small clips or brackets on the outside edges of this case to hold USB cables with some cutouts for holding the cable - it has rounded edges. There is a similar unit on the market with that installed already. I added a 3 as a result of your request. This bay can be adapted for a 5" card reader, and then a USB-equipped reader can be added I plugged the side C header (from the motherboard header) into one side of my case. It wasn't easy or quick, but I did an ok job. Which type of fruit to choose - Using a C cable can make this a little easier or a little more challenging, but it's not straightforward either. As this sled was intended for normal-sized cables, it's not simple. The connectors of A. There are just a few drawbacks regarding this sled, including the fact that it's a bit too big to fit into the drive bays in the case and the plastic is decent, but not particularly difficult to break I cracked two of the prongs as I removed the front panel for easier access with tools, but the piece went back together just fine afterward. As far as I know, these quick release bays work with the sled but they are fiddly to put in and difficult to remove with a grabber because the grabbers latch onto the extra screw access holes on the side. Its different features make it an interesting item, and all in all, it a great item.
