Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with an SATA connector on a backplane (no cable, drive slides right in)?

The data could not be matched on both a Dell PowerEdge 2900 and a SuperMicro server. There are two millimeters of space between the drive and the connectors on the backplane, depending on the mounting method.

Is this compatible with the Seagate Firecuda 2? Is it normal for my corsair 750d airflow to have five USB 3 SSDs?

Although I do not know what a corsair 750d airflow is, it will fit any 2 I put it in. SSH drive that is 5 inches in size.

If it works on this desktop, can anyone let me know What are the specs for this Dell XPS I appreciate it. ?

Because (2) of the holes align with a standard 3, the answer is yes, as John pointed out. This bay is 5" wide. It is lighter than a 3.0 SSD drive because it is much smaller. Its replacement is probably a little bit better than the HD it replaces. This bracket can be installed on 2 out of the 4 mounting holes, but be aware that it cannot be attached to the other two.

What if I wanted to use it as an NZXT ?

As soon as you assemble it, it'll be the size of a 5 - 7 The connector position is the only difference between 1/2 drive and 3/4 drive. The connector CANNOT be installed in a chassis in which it is fixated. Your health is fine otherwise.

Fits thermaltake overlord cases, but does not fit Thermaltake overlord cases
3/5

To begin, let's take a look at the good bits. A few pros Despite the metal's high quality and durability, it is thin. Screws are provided so that mounting can be done. Designed with a simple aesthetic. The cons are Please note - Despite its size, the box is hard to open. You need to turn the box upside down after inserting the battery to prevent them from going missing. Please note - Thermaltake Overseer case does not fit this drive. There are too many mounting holes on the Corsair rack and they are incompatible with the Thermaltake case's. While it will still fit, it will be angled and will not be perfectly level due to the angled mount. Please note - The instructions are NONE. There was a second set of screws in the mount I did not know about, so I assumed my SSD was not compatible. It was as if the last screws fell out just as I was about to send back the package. Please note - The design is extremely simple. I literally just cut out a large flat piece of metal and drilled several I find it to be a total aesthetic I think it would work better in another case.

Not suitable for large installations, only for narrow ones The length of the installation
3/5

Almost any product can be described as simple as this Sheet metal bent into a shape, painted black, and with the appropriate holes drilled in it, paired with two screws (the first to attach the drive to the adapter and the second to attach the adapter to I cannot fit all of the food on the tray because it is too short. The width of a three is comparable to its depth. There are still only as many files on a 5" desktop drive as on You can only mount a full-size laptop drive on a computer that has a mounting point that can accept only 5" drives Three words in length. I'm afraid you're out of luck if you have a 5" hard drive (as I do see picture) The only point at which you can mount this is at the top, so it will tilt and not be as durable as you might expect. This is unusable for anyone needing a 2 if it is as it is. The standard 3" drive must be converted to a 5" drive. This drive bay holds five hard drives.

The single bracket should not be used
3/5

It is not long enough to engage the rear holes of a three-hole bracket with the single drive. There's no structure to its 5" chassis, so it just flops about. In the end, I just used two screw holes to make a dual drive bracket since the dual drive bracket was not available in time for my project. In addition, this piece had three screws instead of four. There are some good pictures of the dual drive bracket, and I wish I had the time to get one. The single drive one may be returned and the dual drive one may be obtained but getting the dual drive one seems like a lot of hassle for such a low-cost.

A single bracket is smaller than a standard three bracket
3/5

This bay can hold up to 5" drives. Unless you're planning on installing an SSD drive inside of an iMac, you should not buy the single bay Corsair mounting bracket. There is no fit for size 3 on this item. On the packaging and on the website, this bracket is described as fitting 5" hard drive bays. It is much smaller than a standard 3. 0 bracket. Please purchase the NewerTech AdaptaDrive instead (ref. 1631) if you need a 5" drive. A picture is attached.

Where is the real 2, why can't there be one? A 5 to 3 ratio
3/5

How many adapters are there? 2 of these were bought by me I need one for my HTPC and one for my gaming rig For my regular PC, I have one. The pros are This is a placeholder page for Standard 3 screws are used for mounting in the side screw holes of the PC. A large number of adapters accept the finer thread 2 of the 5 inch hard drive screws. Drive screws can go up to 5 inches. Because my PC used a slide post or a pin to mount the hard drive, I needed this. The tool can be slipped in and out (tool-in and tool-out) There are three threads for each of these posts. HDD with a 5 inch size. The cons are This is a placeholder page for The bracket can't be mounted from the bottom - The sides are the only access points. It was a great advantage to be able to rearrange the hdds in the HTPC so that I could put this in a bay which allowed mounting. This is
br>- Mounting the drive too close to the bracket/adapter causes it to bang against any surfaces that can damage it. 3 things to remember. I hit the side of the SSD with 5 inches of screws/slide pins that I had to use for the PC. This is
br>- The video is too short! There are no mounting holes on the 3 that match those on the 3 in the rear and in the front. HDD with a 5 inch size. My short piece did not have the slide pins on the back because it was so short. To hold the back in place, I was able to get a wire tie. Oh my gosh. I need your advice

ARE YOU SURE? Aren't the engineers able to differentiate between a 3 and a 2? What does a 5 inch hard drive look like? Was the marketing department thinking "let's save 2 cents and make it shorter" and not put any extra holes in the bottom?.

Three of ten possible mounting places are occupied by three of the ten vehicles
3/5

For the P180 case, a 5" drive will not work. In order to install a bracket in a case, the bracket needs to screw into at least four points. There is only one option to screw the bracket into the case using this bracket. The Antec P180 case does not support that option for either of the two locations. In order to mount 3. , the first option is to mount it on a wall. Under the 3 in. hard drive bracket on the Antec P180 there are four mounting holes for a 5" hard drive. Four mounting holes are missing on the bottom of the bracket for the 5" hard drive. You can see the screws on the bottom of the bracket that attach the SSD to it. The second option for mounting 3 is shown below. On the side of the 3. 25" hard drive (SSD bracket) in the Antec P180 there are four holes for mounting. The two holes at the edge of the fairway are 5" drive. The third item is A3. Hard drives with 5" bays have three mounting holes on the side. Screws can be mounted to the bracket only using the four screw holes on the bracket's side. A hole on the bracket will align with one of the mounting holes on the outside (the one closest to the cable connector). There were also problems mounting the drive to the case with the outside screw hole because standard course screws used by western digital would not work. *BK Sabrent's | *BK Sabrent's All 10 mounting points of a normal 3 are available on the HDDD. This drive has a 5" diameter.
