I need to store my PS3 data on safely while I install the new hard drive that I plan to purchase for the console?

This device enables me to read disks from my internal hard drive as well as my SSD without having to install them on my computer. Using this device works with Windows 10 (I have Windows 10) and it only took a minute or so to connect the device with the disk in place and Windows recognized the device right away. I cannot guarantee that this is what you need for your PS3, but I think it's a good tool for PC.

When using this, do you need to turn on the computer to wipe the drives?

I haven't had an issue with this! A docking station enclosure adapter for the 3 and 5 inch drives works quickly and accepts both formats

There are five lining up and two lining up. There's a 5 inch difference. Both sizes are currently being used by me. SSD 2 is my second SSD. The five drives are just as fast as they would be if they were connected to my computer internally. One of my older computers is not capable of using Utilizing what I have with my USB 3 connections, the adaptor lets me read the full 4TBs from that computer. *If you are looking for an external drive adaptor, I would recommend this one.

I would recommend it to everyone. This product worked perfectly and did everything I needed. It comes in a bunch of different configurations, there are no drivers to install and it was very easy to use.

On Amazon, this will be the first time that I have given a negative review. Using this docking station for two different 3TB hard drives was easy. When I plugged the drive into my computer, it saw only 2TB. Mind you, I still have three left to say. There are no issues with the USB 2. 0 interface and the drives work as expected.
