A very thin gauge metal item, rough edges and inadequate finishing make this item very flimsy. A piece of the edge of my shirt actually cut me. Edges are very rough and there is a lack of alignment and paint on the holes. When I was in a rush to mount my New SSD Drive, which I had already cloned and was using just laying in the bottom of my desktop, I sanded off the sharp edges of the adapter and repainted it properly. In an email, I let the seller know I was disappointed with the quality, and the seller promised to refund my money. A few days later, the seller informed me that he would not refund my money, since I left Once I informed him of what happened, I promised to revise my feedback when he refunded my money as he said at first. The seller stated that I had to return the product through Amazon and retracted his offer of a It's not possible for me to return it to Amazon for a refund since I put a lot of time into repairing the one I'm currently using, so not only is the product poor quality, but the seller doesn't follow through with what he says he will (So the quality of the product is poor, and the seller is a dishonest seller).
There are no mounting threads or holes for mounting the SSD into the 3. 0, however the mounting holes for mounting in the SSD line up exactly. Some PC cases cannot mount it because the heads are just off by enough to render it unusable. No problem if you have elongated mounting brackets on the drive bay. A couple of the cases that I've done upgrades on had only the mounting positions, with no ability to move them. This mount simply cannot be used in such cases. It is also worth noting that the material that these are made of is extremely thin and flimsy. You would be better off using a different bracket/adapter if you want to avoid aggravating yourself further.
This is likely due to the mounting holes on the sides of the adapters being slightly out of position compared to the mounting holes for an In contrast to a 3. 25-inch disk drive, the hole screw threads of a 5" disk drive do not match the threads of the 3. 25-inch side holes. Additionally, there are no holes (4) on the bottom of the adapters for bottom-mounting the 5" disk drive.
This is the hole for the 5" disk drive. It appears that five disks are corrupted The adapter folds in the opposite direction They were downs where the two were. I had to modify the adapter because, according to the manual, a 5" drive is supposed to rest. I was able to install the SSD, although it was a bit of a hassle. That's what you get when you pay for it.
Hard disks that are 5" in diameter. On a 3, the bracket has the wide spacing that is common. The drive size is 5". This spacing is not found on all adapter brackets. As part of my case, I use shoulder screws with grommets over them to mount my hard drive. There is now a snap-in vibration HD mount that makes the unit easier to use. There are no screws in the case but they It was necessary for me to tap into four holes on each bracket before I could thread the special screws into them. I needed only a quick tap to get things started no drilling was required.
Stamps of this type were quite simple- I used metal drive adapter brackets and they did the job just fine. There were no apparent fit problems. Screw spacing was fine here. There were no issues with fit and finish I was able to install the drive and mount the bay without any problems. Here, the adapter was used to plug into a Dell Optiplex snap-in The third mount can be found here. Due to my lack of working experience with 5" drive bays, I cannot answer other reviews' concerns about screw threads. Here are the two parts. It was fine to use the supplied 5" drive screws. These brackets were an excellent value at this price point.
Despite the fact that you get matching threaded screws, the outer holes (which would normally be where this connects to the mounting brackets for the 5) in which they are threaded with the smaller threads used for The coarser threads used in cases and especially No. 3 aren't the appropriate thread. Hard disks that are 5" in diameter. Honestly, I can't come up with any good reason to do this. I.

. For example, if you're planning on mounting this with dampening grommets and longer screws meant for three, you might have to change that expectation. Three points you would like to make. It is not possible to mount 5" drive screws on drive holders.
Here's one of the ones I used. Despite being very inexpensively made, their dimensions were messed up, which would be okay if they were not. There was not quite a three-inch gap between the two. With the screws as they are, the SSD would be subject to a bow across the surface, causing potential strain. Small washers were put over each hole on both sides to bring it out to the correct size. There are better products out there.
It works without a hitch. This is a solid The con is Per bracket, only one SSD or HDD can be installed. In some designs, multiples can be held in one bay at once. One of those would be a good purchase if you have more than one.
