I like this adapter because it does its job. There is one thing that's not told about this product. Make sure your phone's USB port faces up when you plug in the USB. If your device does "fast charging", then you need to turn the type C plug over when you plug it in. In that case, you'll only be able to charge slowly.

During my testing, I found all four adapters to be totally reliable. My first phone had a charging port that was different than pretty much 98% of all other devices on the planet. These were great for travel since I had no way to charge my phone elsewhere. It is only an issue if you are using them for charging purposes, but if you are using them for charging and data transfers. I tried to connect my phone to a USB port on a vehicle I borrowed so that I could listen to music, and the car was unable to connect. I ended up buying the right cord because it was on sale, and the car did connect to my phone with that cord. I guess the adapter had something to do with it, but they are a good back up plan because the micro connections are more common these days than C-types. These are ports of a type.
