Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use two of the adapters at the same time on a MacBook Pro?

The adapter's design strikes a balance between width and radian elegance. The use of one USB to USB C adapter on a port will not prevent the use of the other side-by-side adapter. USB port on the side- Two of these adapters are too wide to fit the two ports on the same side of the c charger.

Is it compatible with the 2018 MacBook Air 13"?

USB- C must have a USB port. Regardless of whether you're using a PC or a Mac, you'll find C everywhere. It works on my X1 carbon 6th generation, so it should work on a Mac Air as well. There may be a problem, as I mentioned in my review, if there are two side-by-side displays. side USB- Your Mac Air has C ports. These adapter plugs are too wide to be used in the side-by-side configuration. My Lenovo docking station has two side ports. On a Mac, I'm not sure how the ports are set up.

Is the 1" length of the adapter inclusive of the male connector piece, or is it just the length of the adapter's body?

The total length of the piece, including the male connector, is 1 1/16". The adapter's body is just over 3/4" in length. I hope this information is useful!

Both of these stopped working not long after I bought them, so can you send me new ones for free because they have a lifetime warranty?

Same here, my USB adapter only lasted a few months and now no devices can be read from it.

0 USB 3. 0 USB 3. 0 USB 3. 0 USB 3. 0 USB 3. 0 USB 3. 0 USB 2. 0 0 to 2. These connectors DO NOT MAINTAIN USB 3. 0, despite what the description claims. This may not be significant to many people. br>br>As the owner of a small business (networking and digital media), I have a lot of USB 3 applications. a score of zero or higher These adaptors were purchased for a variety of uses and as backups in case I didn't have a USB C port or had a bad cable at work or at home. br>br> We put these adaptors to the test with USB 3. 0. Data speeds through the cable dropped to 1 GB/s (sometimes less) from 4 GB/s without the adaptors, according to 0 cables of three different brands. It clearly states that it maintains 1 GB/s, but it can handle up to 3 GB/s and is USB 3. 0 compatible. This statement is untrue. Once you've connected this adaptor to a genuine USB 3. 0 port, you'll be ready to go. You've reduced it to a 2 from a 0 rating. br>br> We have a few devices that are only compatible with USB 3. br>br>Device 1 - br>br> Device that converts media for digital menu boards - Power and a constant data speed of at least 2 GB/s from a USB 3. 0 port are required. 0 cable. We then took the same length and brand of 3. 0 cable, which was Type A on one end and Type C on the other, and it worked perfectly. The device would not work if I used a 0 cable with Type A connectors on both ends and the adaptor (which I am reviewing). The cable worked fine and charged a phone, indicating that the adaptor was functional but not designed for a genuine 3. There are no applications available. It provided power to the media device (albeit insufficient for some reason), but it did not provide anything else to enable the device to function. After that, we used a REAL 3. The device worked with a 0 extension on the same cable without the use of an adaptor. Those who have a Quest know how finicky the Link can be on the cable. Using the adaptor, the Quest refused to connect or even allow Windows to recognize it as a device; however, charging did work through the adaptor, but only in a very limited way. We used both of the adaptors that came in the package, and the results were the same. We also put all six USB 3. 0 ports to the test. On the first PC, there are no ports, and on the second, there are none. We also tried the virtual ports on the RTX 2080ti cards in both Type C PCs with no success. br>br>The bottom line is that these adaptors should not even mention USB 3. 0. In their description, they state that they are incompatible with each other. Take it from someone who has worked in my industry for 15 years. These adaptors are identical to those found in any store's electronics section. br>br>OH MY GOD, I almost forgot about the other problem! br>br> The length of the actual connector that goes into the device is too short for EVERY PHONE WITH A PROTECTION CASE WE TRYED TO PLUG IT INTO. To put it another way, we had to remove the phone's rubber or plastic cases in order for this connector to fit snugly into the charging port. It would simply fall out if it didn't. We don't have any crazy or fancy large cases on our phones. They're nothing more than small scratch guards that snap onto the phones. When I compared the connector length of these adaptors to the length of a Samsung charger cable, I found that they were significantly shorter. These were a tad shorter and, of course, bulkier. br>br> The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it fits perfectly on the Type A cable with no play or issues.

It works well, but there is one caveat: the size
4/5

The form factor appeals to me, as does the ease with which it can be attached to the end of a mouse or HD cable. The only drawback is that they can't be used together. due to the width of the connector on a Macbook Pro, as well as the i-pod touch. The adapter will not fit in the lower of the two USB-C ports in the Blason case I use. Due to overlapping layers (as shown), C ports are not available. br>br>I'd recommend it if you're going to use it with a HD/Mouse cable and don't have a computer case or parallel USB ports. C ports (one on each side would most likely be fine).

DON'T MAKE THE INVESTMENT! It fried four external drives as well as a port on my MacBook Pro
3/5

AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS PRODUCT! br>br>I used this adapter with a brand new MacBook Pro 2019 that I purchased recently. The "fried" port used to work, but it stopped working yesterday, and all four drives I used to test it (3 thumb drives and an external Samsung T1) are now unreadable and unusable on other computers. I was just trying to be thorough by seeing if the port could read ANY drive, and I had no idea the adapter was killing the drives as I inserted them until I heard a sizzle and smelled burnt plastic with the fourth one. When I tried to use any of the four drives with my iMac, none of the power lights came on, and no disk utility recognized them. br>br>AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS PRODUCT!.

It's both tough and attractive
5/5

I'm purchasing from them for the second time. It's a long-lasting and high-quality product. looking. I like how they have a detailed design with a small edge to make it easier to unplug. There is definitely room for improvement, or perhaps this is one of its strengths. After plugging in my MacPro, they made it firm and tight, and you can't use both adapters on the same side. br>However, for the price, I couldn't ask for much more. Their items are very long-lasting. Despite the fact that my official Apple cable was worn out, their cable cases appeared to be brand new. I'm hoping that they can keep up the good work.

Protected laptop port

These adapters are very well designed and work great with my new 2018 MacBook Pro 13" After purchasing, I read that poorly designed Type C products can fry your laptop "USB-C-Adapter-USB-C-Adapter-USB-C-Adapter-USB-C-Adapter-USB-C-Adapter-USB-C- C" ports. I contacted the Syntech Team about my concerns, and the following information was provided the next day by a representative. Two people cannot be accommodated on a single Macbook! In the event that I needed two devices at once, I decided to go with the two-pack
4/5

However, on recent Macbook Pros, both USB c ports are next to each other, preventing both converters from fitting on one laptop! br>br>The product is small and sleek, and it appears to be reasonably durable. It's a much better deal than paying three times as much for an Apple dongle, but if you need access to two ports at the same time, just get the pack of one and a dongle for the other.

There are only a few minor flaws
4/5

To be fair, these are solid connectors with good build quality that do exactly what they say on the box - they connect wires. Take a male USB-C cable and insert it into the male USB-C port. Convert a plug to a male USB-C connector. C plug. The housing is metal, and they appear to be well-made. You also get two for the price of one. On a MacBook Pro, you won't be able to use two at the same time, but the USB-C port allows you to. There's no way to physically fit two USB-C ports because they're so close together. br>br>However, there are a few minor issues to consider:br> - This isn't the laptop space grey, as others have pointed out. It's darker, so it might go with an older phone or iPod, but not with the MBP.
- As a result of the depth, most USB-connected devices aren't compatible. A few cables protrude a little from the rest of the structure. There isn't much, about 2- 3mm, but it appears that these should have been made just a smidgeon deeper to avoid this. br>br>However, overall, this is a good purchase to get you through the USB-related issues. A transition from C to D.
