I have a 1600 x 1200p@85Hz, 1920 x 1440p@60Hz, or 800 x 600p@160Hz CRT monitor with my P992 from an It does not appear to have any issues such as lag or artifacts. There are few vga adapters that can go above 1080p@60hz, I have tried many, and this is the only one that can do this, there are others such as the sunix, but they are expensive and scarce at $120+.

The one reason why I got this cable was because I own a FW900, and the connector clips that keep it from detaching from the displayport are not included in the This was something that I had to learn the hard way since my cable was slipping out of my graphics card constantly. try another place or find something else that works.

CRT gaming is great with this controller

Easily connect a CRT to a graphics card with only digital signals. Using the control panel of Nvidia, I was able to set custom resolutions for CSGO and retro gaming. Works even at higher refresh rates, such as 120hz or 165hz (for a compatible resolution).
