The end that connects to the laptop is a standard-sized USB cable. If that's what you're looking for, then size HDMI is the answer. So I plug that end into my laptop for output, and the other end into a standard monitor VGA cable so that an external monitor can be used as a second monitor on a laptop without a VGA port. (At first, I tried a USB-C port.) The output on the external monitor was choppy despite the use of a VGA adapter cable. Using HDMI is a breeze. A VGA cable is required. Windows 10 is installed on a Dell Inspiron 11 3147 laptop. iTunes was used to play the video in full screen mode. A 24" external monitor is used to display the screen.
I'm guessing so. It connected my Apple TV to my old computer monitor and worked perfectly.
Because it works with a PS4 Pro, this product should work on the Nintendo Switch as well.

It was purchased for the purpose of connecting a PlayStation 4 to an older computer monitor. This is fantastic! Assisting those who are attempting the same task: You will require the following items: br>
1. This adapter converts HDMI to VGA. br>2. One male to male VGA cablebr>three old phone chargers with USB cordbr>Connect the adapter's HDMI port to the PS4. The VGA cable should be connected to the adapter, then to the monitor. Connect the audio jack to the adapter, then the monitor (if it has built-in speakers) or the PS4 controller directly. To make the adapter work, connect the included cable to a phone charger unit that is plugged into an electrical outlet (such as an iPhone or Android charger). br>Start your PS4 in SAFE MODE (this is critical). Then, once the device is turned on, change the resolution to 420! The PS4 will restart automatically, and everything will be back to normal. Enjoy!.
I was able to avoid purchasing a new monitor by connecting my RaspberryPi B to an older 15in VGA only monitor. I wasn't sure how to charge it using the USB port. I figured I'd need another USB power supply, so I tried plugging it into one of the RasPi's USB ports first. It was a cinch to use! On a C, I intend to test this adapter. On KickStarter, I'm supporting a P $9 computer and a PINE64 $15 computer. These old monitors are being thrown away on a daily basis, so you might be able to find a few, as I did at a garage sale. For a total of $15, I purchased four monitors from various garage sales. br>On the first try, the small keyboard also worked perfectly. It's a Rii Mini Wireless 2 that you're looking at. For $17, I also purchased a 4GHz Keyboard with Mouse Touchpad. br>Because I haven't tested this adapter on anything other than the RaspberryPi, I can't say how well it will work. If it performs as well as it does on the Raspberry Pi, it is well worth the money. br>I strongly recommend it for the Raspberry Pi!.
The seller did not follow through on his promise to replace the item. Adapter that converts HDMI to VGA. It was delivered on time. I only needed this device on weekends, so it was used for several weeks. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly; however, the second time I used it, I had trouble connecting the dots. Everything worked after I reseated all of the connections. It was just a matter of being careful not to overstretch the connections. Finally, use sporadic connections followed by blank screens. During the final test, no image appeared on the monitor at any point, despite the laptop displaying a connection to an external monitor. br>br>I contacted JEDirect and they promised to send me a replacement product. I confirmed the shipping address and waited 18 days. Nothing. You'll be satisfied if your device functions properly. If it doesn't work, the company will not make good, based on my experience. I'm not sure if mine was a lemon, but if the second one had worked for a long time, I would have happily given it a positive review. term. I'll update this review if I receive any further information from the company.
But then. After connecting it to my PS3 via HDMI and my monitor via VGA, I was on the verge of throwing it out. I received an error message on the screen indicating that a different setting was selected, but it was already selected. Nothing worked except the sound after I tried everything. After that, I went to my PS3's display options. YOU MUST CHANGE THE PS3'S DISPLAY SETTINGS TO ONLY 720! IT WILL NOT WORK IF ANY OF THE 1080 VALUES ARE CHECKED! So, with the exception of the 720, I simply unchecked everything related to that setting. In other words, it will only read 720 out of your PS3. That is, at least, how it went in my case. 10 out of 10 for the seller and the product.
I'm sure you understand what I mean - Your fast new laptop lacks VGA (instead, it has HDMI, as do the majority of laptops these days). When you walk into the room, you notice that there is only an older style VGA connection and no HDMI! As you consider how to deliver your talk without using any slides, your heart sinks. br>br>In every situation, this unit has proven to be FANTASTIC! I give presentations and teach on a regular basis, most of the time using PowerPoint slides. Only HDMI video is supported by my new laptop. no VGA - However, I've noticed that many establishments still use VGA as a ceiling-mounted display. projectors on the wall I've used this adapter a few times now (maybe a dozen), and the video output has always looked great on the screen. It gives me complete peace of mind! br>br>I was even more impressed recently when I tried a friend's Belkin branded unit and the VGA only showed the right half of every slide! I assumed it was the projector, but the picture was perfect and as intended as soon as I switched out his adapter for this one. I was blown away that my no-name adapter worked when the Belkin adapter messed up the picture! I ordered the same unit for him as a gift after I finished my speech. He also stated that it works flawlessly for him. br>br>I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this unit. It performs as expected and takes up minimal space in my laptop bag. In a nutshell, this product adds security to any presenter who wants to avoid a last-minute PowerPoint or other presentation hookup issue! P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. Mine has lasted for a long time and has seen a lot of action. Other reviewers claimed theirs "fell apart," but I can't imagine how that could be possible given the way this is made. I'll come back and update this review if mine breaks down as well.
