It measures approximately 6ft 71'' in length.
I don't own a PS4, but it should work because the PS4 has an HDMI port and the monitor has a VGA port.
No, it only converts signals from HDMI to VGA monitors; it does not convert signals from VGA to HDMI monitors. If you need to convert a signal from vga to hdtv via HDMI, we suggest this item, ASIN: LINKS: B01I7SA4TI, B01I7SA4TI, B01I7SA4TI, B01I https: //www. amazon. Simply plug it in and go. For those who are new to this (connecting a laptop to an external monitor to increase work space): There's a good chance you won't be able to hear anything. Do not be concerned. Simply right-click the sound icon in the bottom right corner of the screen (only for Windows users). Deselect the HDMI cable from the list of playback devices. Hdmi is a bi-directional connector for audio and video. If you have a monitor with speaker outs, you won't have an issue. br>br>Excellent value for money.
The process of installation and use appears to be straightforward. I followed the instructions to the letter, but the computer refused to recognize the cable/device; I went through the settings, and everything was fine. I was baffled as to what I was doing incorrectly. I took it to my IT guy, who used some kind of magic to test the cable with a meter and found nothing! The cable had a flaw somewhere within its insulation. I was relieved to learn that I can connect two ends of a cable, but I was disappointed that it didn't work right away.
This item was purchased solely for use with my Nintendo Switch. The wire isn't flimsy and has a good amount of weight. It worked perfectly, and the computer recognized it right away. br>br>UPDATEbr>The cable has already failed after only two months. It started with a slight movement causing the signal to disconnect; this was fine because I could simply tap/move it and the signal would return. It was purchased on August 22nd and is no longer working as of September 15th.
When I received them, the screws on the VGA side were missing, and my monitor would not recognize the secondary computer monitor once it was plugged in. I tried it on my TV, which has both VGA and HDMI inputs, but it still wouldn't recognize it. I had to purchase the HDMI to VGA converter attachment, which worked flawlessly. Despite the possibility that this item was defective, I would not recommend it because I needed it to work from home and had to wait several days for shipping because it was not considered "essential. ".
br>It was plugged into my monitor from my laptop and worked flawlessly. It was immediately effective. br>However, after about a day of use, I began to notice that my monitor was becoming disconnected. To get the monitor to turn back on, I had to fiddle with the cord. After a while, it simply stopped working. Unplug your computer reconnecting, but my monitor had failed to recognize the VGA connection by that time. I really needed this for my dual monitor setup at home, but it didn't work out, so I'll have to return it. I'm going to give the Amazon Basic one a shot and see how it turns out!.
It's simple to connect, the cord is long enough, and after my initial concern that the display was the wrong size, it's done exactly what I needed. When I was looking at this cord, I asked a question and received an immediate response. This cord is one I would suggest.
I needed an HDMI cable, so I went to Amazon to look for one. This cable arrived quickly, and it only took about 30 seconds to connect and get me back on my feet. It appears to be of good quality, and it is the ideal length for keeping my laptop and external monitor on my desk. This is a cable that I wholeheartedly recommend.
I purchased two of these cables in order to set up a switching network for sharing a dual monitor setup between two computers (desktop and laptop). One of the cables appeared to be faulty. It only worked on a sporadic basis. I used both computers to test it. The cable could be moved in a specific direction and still fail. The other of the two that I purchased appears to be in good working order. br>br>Update: br>I was given a refund for a defective cable and went out and purchased another. The new cable is in perfect condition.
