I also have an Elements TV that isn't a smart TV, and it doesn't have an HDMI port. I wanted to use the Amazon Fire Stick to watch Comcast Xfinity, but there isn't an app for it. So I bought it to connect my laptop to my TV. Comcast is attempting to charge $60 for the installation of a basic box. This is not going to work. So far, so good. I can watch it on my laptop, and the sound comes through my TV speakers. It still plays on my laptop, and I can hear it even if my TV isn't turned up loud enough. This cord is functional and simple to connect.

They claim to support 1920x1200 resolution, as evidenced by the images I've provided. They only support a resolution of 1920x1080 in reality. Both Linus and Windows 10 were used to test this. Both computers perform admirably when connected directly to HDMI or via the monitor's VGA input.

It simply does the job. Take an old computer with you on the road and leave your expensive computer at home. Because my older laptop lacks an HDMI port, I purchased this adapter to connect it to my LCD television. This adapter performs admirably. There is no need for an additional power source. The power is provided by a USB port, and the audio is provided by the computer's headphone jack. With crisp, full-screen displays, computer VGA output to HDMI works perfectly. I'm really happy with how things are going so far. My old laptop has been given a new lease on life by allowing me to show slide shows of photos, Powerpoint presentations, and demonstrations of web surfing. I'll be able to take my old machine on the road while leaving my expensive machine at home, and I'll be able to use HDMI for professional presentations. My computer is newer. On the screen, the edges were slightly cut off, but I was able to correct this using the TV settings. I can't tell you how happy I am with my new "monitor," which is the size of a large a$$. having the ability to easily switch between PC and Mac Roku. This is fantastic! The audio and the resolution are both excellent. I'm currently in the same boat. Take a look at the image I've attached. I blacked out any personal information. Although it is a little hazy, That is NOT a strange product; it is me failing miserably at taking photos with my phone.

I'm sure this is a perfect adapter for a monitor that sits 2 feet away from the central processing unit, allowing the adapter to be plugged into the monitor, speakers, and the UPS connection it requires for power, but the description doesn't mention any of that, so I can't use it. Even my tech is baffled as to why such an adapter would require so many extra connections. Furthermore, there are no instructions included with the item, so no one can figure out how to use it. around - if such a thing exists Because my CPU is 5 feet away from the monitor, I'll have to return it and replace it with an adapter that doesn't require all of these "special" connections. That has caused me to miss another week of being able to use my monitor. THINGS ARE NOT GOING WELL IN THIS PLACE!.

Although the PC can handle any resolution, I had to set our TV display to "best fit" rather than "16:9" because the PC can't handle it. It had to be cut down to 9" in order to fit the screen properly; otherwise, the edges were clipped off. I've used a VGA cable to connect the PC to other TVs. The screens fit perfectly without any alterations thanks to a VGA cable (because those TVs had VGA ports). So I have to believe that the analog to digital converter board in this adapter is doing something to make it a little strange in terms of screen-time. fitting. I was, however, able to work- Everything is fine now that we've gotten to the bottom of the problem.
