It was purchased to connect a Macintosh legacy DB25 connection with a SCSI coupler. It works perfectly! I am very happy to announce that!.
There are no problems with the device so far, and it is.
My SCSI2SD 5 works perfectly with this driver. A 25pin header is required. The SCSI2SD is compatible with my Mac SE as well as my Amiga 3000 since I can plug it directly into the rear 25-pin port.
When it comes to an adapter that you had to look for in order to find, there is not much to say. Despite its thin and durable construction, it is only secured on one side by screws. Does what it is supposed to. DB25 users like me need one of these if they are still using these old standards.
There are a lot of Wow I can't believe they installed that device that way types of reactions. On this install, the store used up all of its unwanted stock. Whenever I am called out to repair a system on a ship or boat, I have to carry a large pouch of adapters with me. Due to the unknown factors and the fact that time and location of repairs are in areas that are out of reach of local supply shops, this type of stock is used and installed to increase durability and reliability.
When something is exactly what it says it will be, and there is no chance of failure, it can't possibly be a failing.
