Sorry, but I have no idea what this is or how much it is worth unused. It looks like it could be an antenna, but I make my own. Could this be a Diamond antenna?
If I were to use this in a marine environment, I'd make sure it was waterproof. To protect the joints, I'd use coax sealing tape. Alternatively, any self-vulcanizing tape will suffice. If they're exposed, check for corrosion on a regular basis.
No, you won't be able to separate this connector in the middle. It appears that a single PL 259 connector is all you'll need.
For a long time, I've been using this type of connector. I've turned off and on the coax on numerous occasions. As a result, the connector is still in use and appears to be brand new.

It gets the job done. These were purchased to connect between my ham rig and antenna switch, eliminating the need for a short coax run. This, in combination with a right-angle connection, was exactly what was required. They do a great job and are dependable. I would purchase this item again.
We don't like to spend a lot of money on something we can't see, so we have a ham radio op. These, on the other hand, are pretty damn good. I had to double-check that they weren't tampered with. Today, I placed an additional order.
Worked perfectly with no changes in power or swr.
Attaching an old cb antenna to our RV was a piece of cake! The previous owner had set up shortwave for the coach. After my father passed away, I came across his old cb in his belongings.
These fittings are of high quality. The threads are silky smooth and perfectly align with SO239 type fittings. When your coax needs to be extended. It was well constructed and performed admirably when I required it.
The adapter's sturdy design is appealing to me. To connect an RF device to my ham radio transceiver, I needed a tight connection. It really works.
This was purchased in order to connect a lightning arrestor to my residence.
