The temperature behind the television and in the hallways around the fireplace will determine whether the TV is on or not. Considering there is a TV mounted over the fireplace, I assume it will be okay.
In short, yes.

I hosted a five person LAN party, set up a guest WiFi network for everyone to use, and hooked 3 of my five computers up to the LAN On a professional level, it was my team that was laning) and this access point killed us. couldn't find a single Internet issue. The management is annoying because you have to basically run an application instead of it having it's own IP address but it's the way it is with ubiquity so it will have to do Although, I do love the extra features that that process offers, like the fact that if you owned multiple devices, you could access them through a single There is no question that it's for the ultimate tech savvy person and I think it's perfect.
Range It seems to me that as anecdotal evidence, the Engenious EAP1300 we use at work has a wider range, however, I didn't want a big saucer above my head, since this product was going to my condo. In comparison to the previous model, this one is much smaller Only 1200 square feet are in my condo and it is enough to cover my entire area. The concrete wall of my garage allows me access to the inside. In my case, however, it is perfectly centered in my workstation. I would get 50 down rather than 300 if I put it in the far corner and it has to beam through my living room and guest bathroom. Nevertheless, that is obvious since my appliances and mirror also have to pass through it. Any other approach would not likely produce as good results as this one. I am not too thrilled with the fact that the injector pretty much is It is abnormal for a voltage to be 48v. In my search for generic images like a TPT, I didn't really look hard at all The link could have been in an email or something so it's possible I The score is probably a 9. Although I imagine that having three or more of these in a large house would be great.
It was needed for a specific complex problem. Windows Network Policy Service assigned vlans as part of this task. The wireless connections on these devices are not capable of supporting multiple VLANs. I was unable to get assistance from the technical support department. The solution or option I've been waiting for over a month has not yet came to me.
The simplicity of this access point module really appeals to me. The following cons reduce the rating to 4 stars There is no use for an injector (so says documentation) * You must use PoE from a switch to get the signal - an injector will not work* * the signal seems more directional and some devices closer to it can still connect It took a bit of tuning with the mapping tool to dial in the output signal strength between the two devices
* appears to be appropriate for mounting low, but it probably performs better high on the.
With the addition of another AP, the coverage of the WiFi could be extended without extending another cable in the ceiling. In addition to being a switch with POE passthrough, this is also a really great product to own. My office has had great results using this product, since I did not have to sacrifice my data line in order to increase WiFi, but I am still able to hardline the other gear in my office.
I think this is an excellent piece of tech, especially for WiFi deployments. My living room setup would be ideal if I could have both a gigabit switch and AP in one small wall mounted unit. It seems that these are intended for use in hotel rooms, but personally I don't know of any better way to do this at home. A copy of the IW has been sent to me I installed my HD setup behind my media console, behind the ethernet connection, which allows me to hard wire my tv, PlayStation 4 and NTR, as well as remaining free ports for anything else that may come along Besides having great wifi connectivity in my 3600sqft home, I also have a nano-HD camera in the ceiling of my second floor, so I have complete coverage even in my detached garage where I've been able to upgrade the hardware. I have gigspeed internet at my living room and am able to download over 500 Mbps. The Unifi media center speakers are a great option if you have a wireless network in your home.
For new construction homes, I use these so that every room in the house can be covered by 5g. It is easy to install and very discrete in size. ), but there is no better 5g room by room WiFi.
To improve our overall 5G signal in the lower level, I plugged the device into a preexisting ethernet jack in our family room (to the attic PoE switch). During the physical installation, it took about five working days It took about five minutes to setup, via the Ubiquiti phone app, and this was in connection with my existing Ubiquiti AC-200 network The Pro Unit upstairs worked without any problems. It has 5G WiFi, which is great, and there is less channel interference from the neighbors.
The design is good and aesthetically pleasing, but that's all there is to it. This network only has a range of half that of a UAPACM and has a poor performance compared to AC LR. As well as getting very hot, the device also gets very hot. My antenna strengths and locations are set up incorrectly, and the signal range is very poor after a couple days. Perhaps this would be best suited to a single room. For the poor range of this unit, I do not think it's worth the price.
