2 years is probably closer to the truth. It seemed like it would be a pretty good system at first glance, but it has issues. It picks up devices that are much closer to the satellite only occasionally. One device seems to be picked up consistently by the program. It's possible to lose internet connection on a device when it tries to pick up another one. In this case, you have to disable the device's wifi (disable the Some firmware updates have partially solved this issue, however it has not been permanently resolved. In the main unit, internet connectivity is lost every other day, and I have to reboot it every 2-5 days. The internet connection sometimes shows as good even when I do not have a good A connection to the internet is not available on all devices. I was concerned when reading another review indicating that the screws provided would not work with the AX6000 RBK852. That's what I was meant to use this for. As far as I was concerned, the screws that affix the base plate to its bottom did not cause me any problems. The screws that are used to attach the mount to the wall caused a problem for me.
