I bought this as a GSM tablet and I expected it to work with a GSM sim card. After I input my SIM card, it connects to the cell network but does not work with the broadband. I sent a message to company but have not heard anything over the last 96 hours. *UPDATE I have a problem with the SIM card now. Because I was able to get the device to work, my rating has been increased. Nevertheless, I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars due to the insufficient customer service. Getting the device to connect to my network service provider was successful. There was an issue with the device because it was made for ATT and only ATT's Access Point Name (APN) was set up. Additions of new APNs can be done only by logging on to the hotspot web admin page. The technical support failed to provide a login ID or did not want to do so. From ATT's website, I was able to obtain a login (attadmin) for the admin page of the device. Once I was able to access the admin webpage for the device, You can add your service provider by going to settings > A mobile broadband connection is required Adding an APN is done by clicking Add An The name of Project FI was set to "Project Fi", and the APN to "h2g2" without quotation marks. You'll have to determine what the APN settings are for your service provider if you're using another provider.

It is my pleasure to let anyone who is in need of a mobile WiFi connection know that the 815S is the right choice. As a result, I bought this unit with unlimited data ($30 per month) so that we could watch our favorite shows on the go. As RVers, you will always be disappointed if you depend on the Park WiFi system to connect to the internet. The two purchases we recommended are perfect for staying connected even while living in an RV. A happy person like me is hard to find.

I think it's compatible with Project Fi. Once I had my micro SIM converter in the phone, I was able to plug my data-only SIM in and it immediately started working (note that I had previously used this SIM in my Nexus 6). I was able to connect to WiFi and log in to the admin account at 192. 168. 2. 2. I had to do a search to find out the default password was attadmin (which I found by searching). I have not yet used it outside of the house, so I am not sure how strength is outside compared to my Pixel XL. As a buyer, I had high hopes for this hotspot. Over the years, I have used most of the generations of AT&T The first usb plug-in I used to use was as a hotspot, so I have plenty of experience with them. In the past, I have been unable to get my active sim to connect to the network. The device has connected, then shown no internet, and has then disconnected. I checked the bands, security, and blocks, and have reset the device. The whole thing. This is not my card. I put it back in my device and it began working again. There is no way to improve the reception in an urban setting even if you live in the heart of the city. As I expected, this did not receive as much attention as I had hoped. If you want more bands and carrier aggregation, a satellite antenna would be better. Unless you need CA, I think you will find that the Unite gets better reception than the regular (and cheaper) unit. CA has not affected the speed of my area (Los Angeles) any more than CA does.

I bought this service so we can keep all of our devices connected while traveling at high speeds. Purchasing an inexpensive local data plan and a SIM card for local use was the best thing I could do. The device offered internet connection through 4G/LTE, as well as phone calling through Wi-Fi. A factory reset on the device caused it to be locked after I accidentally reset it. In the end, the seller gave me an unlock code and I was able to operate again. ATT is the default APN for the device, so I was unable to get it going right away. As soon as I found the correct settings via the service provider's website, I was able to connect. No problems were encountered with the device and it was able to handle up to six devices at the same time. my way home, I noticed that I could power up and connect to the internet in London.
