** The shape is noticeable, but not in an overbearing way. However, I dislike the fact that the monitor cannot be rotated clockwise, which means that if you use the Dell stand, the monitor will not be able to stand vertically. The monitor can be tilted and adjusted in height. br>br>**Colors/Brightness/Picture Quality*
The colors are very bright when compared to the S2417DG. The brightness of this monitor is identical to that of the AW2521HF. I'm blown away by the colors on this monitor; for the price, it has the most vibrant colors I've ever seen on a monitor this cheap, and it almost looks like an IPS. br>br>**Control Panel*
The control panel has a lot of options, and I especially like how you can adjust the brightness and response time. br>br>Overall:
I the monitor is 100% the best monitor for this price. You have so much access to adjust your display to your desire ( way more than my 240hz Asus This will be ideal for the PS5 and Xbox One, as it will be 144hz, while the new generations will be 120hz. Is this monitor something I would recommend? br>br> Any Flaws
YES 100%
Is it worth its price?
YES 100%

There is no protection in the box because it has been opened. Just. . monitor. in. box. What is the worst that can happen? How is it that quality control fails so spectacularly when it comes to packing and packaging? Ruh-Ruh-Ruh-Ruh-Ruh-Ruh-Ruh-Ruh Is there no way to protect that poor shattered monitor, Ro? Smashing the monitor before packaging and shrugging it off would have been faster, more efficient, and less expensive. Somewhere, in a Dell fulfillment center, people and machines are collaborating to make some shockingly bad packaging risk decisions. If it's going to be shipped that badly, with such a disregard for the risk of loss, at least make the experience entertaining and enjoyable - Perhaps some stray spark plugs, ball bearings, and rocks could be stuffed inside? Either improve or risk more. Unfortunately, at this price point and with these features, I'm going to be forced to order another one of these once the return is resolved. In a morbid, masochistic way, I'm wondering if this was just a "bad box" or if there's a nationwide epidemic of unsecured monitors. I'll keep you updated.

I bought it for myself, but my daughter (college age) asked to use it to set up a streaming channel with the gaming PC I built for her two weeks later. I said OK because I didn't think she'd be able to configure all of the software and hardware since she only has an iPhone and iPad. My assumptions were incorrect. She was streaming Among Us game play in a matter of days, and her adorable face was at the bottom. She felt like a true pro streamer with that monitor. br>The new Dell monitor setup- br>HP 590 with i3 processor 8100, 8GB of memory, and an EVGA Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti card, all running smoothly on a 180W power supply (122W at the wall plug)- $211 for a Dell monitor, and a used PC for the rest of the system. It also supports Nvidia graphics cards, which is a plus. I intend to purchase a second Dell S2721HGF as quickly as possible.

Great monitor for the money, but it's highly recommended that you calibrate it when you first set it up. There appears to be a nefarious blue light filter on it, but this isn't the case. This is the factory's color calibration.

The Stands are the same as the S2421HGF; they have a nice design, but you can't turn your monitor vertically with them; you can only tilt up and down and adjust the height. br>br>**Build quality/monitoring curve*
br>The build quality is excellent. As you can see in the image I provided, the monitor screen curves in about 1 inch in the middle. While gaming, you can clearly see the curve. **DISPLAY*
Like the S2421HGF, the monitor display is extremely bright. It appears to be very close to an IPS Monitor, and for the price, it appears to be very good. br>br>**What I Don't Like*
I don't like that the monitor does not include a display port, only HDMI and a power cord. br>br>
I 100% recommend this monitor because it is great for its price and has very bright colors for display that you can adjust for it.

However, once you've got the Nvidia Control Panel set up, the framerates are incredible! It's a monitor, that's what it is. I'm at a loss for words. br>br>I'm not sure I'd buy it again, but if you're on a budget, I'm almost certain you won't be able to find a monitor with this refresh rate. I wish the blacks were a little darker, but for the price, I can't complain. Budget Frame Addicts will thank me later if they buy this.

The monitor is fantastic, and it is a significant improvement over my previous primary display. The problem I'm having is that the listing shows two separate monitors. Because the primary images on Amazon show a curved monitor, I assumed I'd be getting one. The monitor I received is not curved, as you can see if you look it up on Dell's website. Aside from the product misrepresentation on the listing, I am very pleased with this monitor.

If you don't care about 1440p or 4K gaming, this is a great option for the money. This monitor drew me in with its minimalist yet tasteful gaming aesthetic, as well as the specs for the price.
