Overall, it does the job and looks good; it's well-made and appears to be one continuous piece. It is not, however, made of solid wood. It is made of layers of wood, similar to plywood, with a wood finish on the outermost layers. I bought it for my wife because I noticed she uses our kitchen laptop as a standing desk quite frequently. What are the drawbacks? It fits our 2019 13-inch MacBook Air perfectly. br>1) It is not adjustable because it is a single block, but we were aware of this. My wife is just over 5' tall, so the height appears to be appropriate for her. It's a little low for me because I'm 5'10". br>2) The lower lip is thick, ensuring that the laptop does not slip out. The lip, on the other hand, is thick and slightly raised. Even though there is a front opening that appears to allow you to open the laptop screen, the new MacBook Airs are too thin for your thumb to reach. To open the laptop, you must lift it slightly and then place it back down. Other laptops might work fine. br>br>The last point isn't a limitation, but it's worth noting. The stand includes four soft plastic adhesive circles that you can use as feet on the bottom. It is securely fastened to our granite counter. On the plus side, even if you bump it, it will not slide off. It does not slide, however, if you want to make a minor adjustment or pivot; you must pick it up and move it.

Apple is a brand of computer. This is a very nice laptop stand, with excellent materials and construction quality, as well as accurate dimensions. It's made of furniture-grade bent plywood and has a lovely real walnut veneer. Please ignore the box's condition; it was ordered and shipped directly from SAMDI in China, and it was a little banged up in transit, but the contents were fine. The small chalky white marks along the edges of a couple of photos appear to be scuffs, but they vanished completely once I found a damp cloth to wipe them away. A velvet fabric bag with the stand inside was also included in the box (shown in one of the darker photos). br>br>However, there is one minor flaw, which is mostly mitigated by enclosed items. br>br> br>br>I bought it to go with a HP AB100-based printer. I'd say the 15T Pavilion Gaming laptop is nearing its maximum size (non-portable). This stand could securely support an Apple) laptop. The front of the computer is angled in such a way that the front lip is ineffective at keeping the laptop in place. The laptop turns tail-up when the lid is opened to an upright position. It is heavy and lifts itself over the front lip before slipping away. br>br>I fixed this by sticking the 3M adhesive rubber feet that came with the laptop to the surface it sits on. (See image) While this has completely resolved the problem, it is something to keep in mind. br>br>What I like best about this stand is that it can be turned on its side to hold the laptop in a vertical position, freeing up more space for an external mouse, monitor, keyboard, and other accessories while still maintaining its cord management properties. It cantilevers the computer over the work surface in its horizontal position, with no obstructions obstructing use of the space below and enough lift to store a wireless keyboard or other accessories when not in use. It adjusts the height and angle of the laptop keyboard, as well as the monitor, to provide optimal viewing. The ventilation slots appear to be more than adequate, as the fans were able to run freely during last night's gaming session, and the laptop remained cool the entire time. br>br>Overall, it gets five stars because what I received is exactly what is described in the listing and exactly what I wanted.

Because the metal stands were scratching my MacBook, I wanted to try a wooden one. This one, however, is far too small and the angle is awkward; on a 13-inch MacBook Pro M1, you'll need to open the laptop all the way to see it. This is a terrible design. The construction is adequate, but the design is ineffective.

This is a very nice, modern plywood stand with a lovely maple finish. It's a good one. The design is well-balanced and well-thought out. To keep the laptop cool, the curved shelf on which it sits has venting cut into it in parallel lines. My grade is a thirteen. It's got a Microsoft Surface Book on it, and it's comfortable to use. It has a beautiful design and raises the laptop closer to eye level for improved ergonomics. A useful alcove beneath the laptop for a desktop keyboard and a small dock or hub is also provided by the shape. A hole has been cut out for cable management on the back of the unit. The only thing I would suggest is that the laptop shelf be outfitted with some rubber grip pads. The Surface Book is a 2-in-1 laptop that can be used for both work and play. 1. The feet on it are a little small, allowing it to slide around a little more than I'd like; however, this may not be an issue for another laptop with larger feet, so I wouldn't discount it (just a suggestion). Overall, I'm quite pleased. It's just as nice as Grovemade, but for a lot less money. This book comes highly recommended.

My job requires a dual screen, and the monitor I connect to my laptop is quite large. As a result, the laptop screen appeared to be significantly lower than the monitor screen, and I needed a stand to help level them out. This one is much nicer than many of the others on the market, and it perfectly fits my Thinkpad! I also like the back hole for feeding cords through - Assists in maintaining a neat and tidy environment. It's a little pricey, but it's well worth it in my opinion. Finally, although video calls aren't common at my workplace, if you're using the camera on your laptop, this would bring it closer to eye level, which could be beneficial.

This stand elevates my MacBook to a convenient viewing height for me. When I'm working for more than thirty minutes, it makes a huge difference to look straight ahead instead of down. The stand's walnut color is lovely, and it appears to be well constructed. My keyboard can also be tucked away in the stand, which I like. Rubber bumpers on the top and bottom are highly recommended. To keep your computer from sliding, you'll need bumpers on the top. To protect your table, you'll also need something on the bottom. Four bumpers were included in the package, but they should have been enough for both the top and bottom.
