br>What it isn't: A cheap, well-made (if not overbuilt) monitor and laptop mounting solutionbr>br>What it is: Effortlessly adjustable, just like those gas-charged strut models that cost four times as muchbr>br>Overall, this product appears to be well-made and includes everything you need. br>br> The only drawback is that you have to adjust it and rely on friction to keep it in place. This means you'll need to keep the Allen key tools on hand for adjustments because you'll need to loosen bolts, adjust them, and then tighten them again. I can't say I blame it for the price. If you try to type on it, the laptop tray is a little wobbly, but that wasn't the reason I bought it. In addition, plastic "bushings" are used where the arms attach to the vertical pole, allowing the arm to pivot without loosening the bolts. br>I'll probably get another one because it's so good.
15-inch Macbook Pro with a 27-inch LG 4K monitor that works flawlessly. Productivity has increased, as has the cleanliness of the desk. Extremely durable.
I couldn't be more pleased. For a long time, I've been looking for a separate monitor and laptop stand, and I recently came across this WALI set. Before it arrived, I was a little concerned about the quality because it was under $50. There was no need for me to be alarmed. It's a STRONG setup. Everything is of the highest quality. When assembled, it is made of high-quality metal and is safe. It took some time to get everything set up, but that's only because I'm not the most, um, meticulous direction follower. To prevent any movement after you've assembled it, make sure you tighten the tray and post screws TIGHTLY at first (don't ask me how I know this). br>br>I have a 15'' Asus laptop, and the lip on the tray holds it in place fine as long as I don't tip it too far forward; however, it is an unusually thick laptop body, so I imagine most people won't have this problem. Again, this isn't a problem for me; it simply limits the angle at which I can tilt the tray slightly. If you're happy with the configuration shown in the main product image (i. e. , monitor above tray) then it won't be an issue. Because my desk isn't very deep, I wanted them to be side by side. I was able to set it up in that manner right out of the box. However, my monitor was just a smidgeon too big, casting a shadow on the laptop monitor in the side-by-side setup. Support was gracious enough to send me a second base post and screws so that I could use both the grommet and clamp bases (you can only use one at a time). Of course, this will only work if you already have a hole in your desk (or are willing to make one). Thank you so much to WALI's support staff for making me feel welcome. I work at a standing desk. br>br> If movement while typing is important to you (which it isn't), be aware that there will be some shake, especially when standing. However, for the most part, this should not be an issue. br>br>Overall, an excellent offer. It comes highly recommended!.
Easy to assemble with well-marked components. Allow yourself a lot of leeway when it comes to how you set it up - Instead of placing it on the table, I placed it on the table foot and constructed a lying-down platform for myself. work station is now closed! (As you can see in the photo, I'm only using the laptop portion right now. ) It's good for my back.
br>Awesome design and quality at a fraction of the cost! All screws, bolts, small parts, and tools were included (with the exception of the Philips screwdriver) - Everything is labeled and laid out for you. It's simple to get to, and it's also simple to lose! br>All parts were included to allow for multiple installation options, including through a grommet hole in a solid surface with no edges. br>Overall, the fit, finish, and functionality met or exceeded my expectations, and it was less than half the price of far less expensive alternatives! br>I would strongly advise anyone looking to improve their work area's ergonomics and space utilization to purchase this product. I attached mine to an older Ergotron workstation cart so that it can be used in both standing and sitting positions. Take a seat, and it will take care of you! Despite the fact that I have a separate keyboard tray with a full-size keyboard, I don't use it. The laptop holder is very sturdy, and it can easily be used on a regular basis without bouncing around while you type or rest your arms while you mouse around. Depending on the size of your monitor or if you're using it as a stand-up station on a fixed height desk or table, the pole comes with an extension. Exceptionally well-made! br> The laptop shelf could also be used as an adjustable swing out surface to keep books, binders, and other reference materials out of the way but within easy reach of the work surface. It can also be used to hold a small light table, or as a writing or drawing platform (with the addition of a suitable surface pad) because it is completely tilt adjustable - Unlike other products that do not tilt. br>This one, in my opinion, is a no-brainer!.
I used to have another desk mount that allowed me to adjust the height of my monitors. I chose these because I needed something that would keep things in place, be a good height, and be able to handle the weight. The ability to use my laptop on it was a nice bonus. So, if you're looking for a similar desk mount, this is it. This, on the other hand, will not work for you if you want to change heights. I really wish they had a top mount extension. Because of its extremely short arm, it's difficult to position my top monitor where I want it. Aside from that, it's fantastic.
It was difficult to put together even when I kept meticulous records of all the parts. In addition, after I had everything set up, I swapped the laptop and monitor arms. As a result, I had to dismantle it and start over. Also, make sure that everything is as tight as possible! If you don't tighten it down, it will wobble, but once it is, everything will work as it should. It's well worth the hour or two it takes to put together such a sturdy little setup. I made use of the Mount- For my external USB monitor, I used a VESA Mount Adapter Mounting Kit, and it worked great! Overall, a good setup that is a pain to put together but only needs to be done once! It was well worth the effort:.
