It was my intention to make the three displays (2 monitors + 1 laptop screen) extend at the same time. Now that I've used it for 2 weeks, every single day there is at least one incident of the adapter going out of range and the screens going I then have everything on my two monitors (which do not have connections to the adapter) pushed onto my laptop screen after the other two monitors connected to the adapter were reset. I've tried upgrading the PC to Win 10 but it didn't work, and I have no easy way to fix it since it appears to be an internal problem with the cable. issue is that wireless mice and keyboards do not work well with it. There was a significant lag in both my mouse and my keyboard when I hooked the adapter up, to the point where it was It would occur to me that I would type a sentence and only about half of the letters would be recognized, and I would see them on the screen about 15 seconds after pressing the keys. Also, the mouse lag is so bad that I might as well have moved the cursor with my thought. Regardless of what happens, I will be returning it and getting another adapter from a different manufacturer. This is too small for a docking station, how could it have such a purpose? I thought I would give it a shot. My computer was set up with two 24 inch Samsung monitors, a USB mouse, a wireless keyboard, a USB camera, and an SD card. Then I unplugged the camera and unscrewed the USB port. I removed the power supply from the pc and moved it to the docking station, then I plugged the docking station into the pc and began using it. It is done. It only takes a few minutes to set up the external display. I could not have done it better. tried to use a $200 docking station, but it didn't work.
