Currently, I use two monitors, one of which is a 26-inch monitor. By using this approach, I tried extending the desktop with just one monitor, and it did not work, and it also did not work with additional monitors stacked on. There have been several different types of connections tried USB, USB C, HDMI, and VGA, but none of them would extend my That ended up being the option I chose, more money but a great product!.
Inserted the USB cable into the computer My laptop has a Thunderbolt port where I can plug in the C cable. A HDMI cable was plugged into two HDMI outputs. The HDMI cable should be plugged into the HDMI port on the USB C docking station. *Plugged the HDMI cable into the computer The cables going into the HDMI ports of the 23" flat screen monitors are HDMI cables. * Right - Using the desktop icon of Windows, click on it. You have selected the "Display Settings" option. Each of the two additional screens was extended to this screen by selecting "Extend to this Display". Here we go! The d-word - An update has been posted. In the meantime, I was unable to get this working with the two monitors I tried.
Appears to be a problem with some newer hubs that do not recognize In the event that this device fails for you and your monitors are older, this may be a contributing factor.
During the first three weeks, it performed very well. After that, USB connections began to break. As I used a keyboard or mouse (with a USB connection) I saw increasing dropouts of the program. The keyboard and mouse worked normally after I switched to another USB hub. I initially thought it was my keyboard or mouse, but changed to a different USB hub and it fixed it. The device would still have been a good choice for me if not for this issue. There was a problem with all three USB connectors.
This is being used with the Lenovo Yoga C740. All the ports I required and more were on this board! It is now easier for me to connect my new Yoga C740 to both of my large monitors, giving me the three screens I need to teach The monitor, an HDMI monitor, an ergonomic keyboard, a phone charger cable, and a USB hub all fit neatly into one port. I'm using a VGA monitor, an HDMI monitor, a phone charger cable, and a USB hub all together with this tiny device. Located on the USB hub is my wireless mouse, external web cam, and wireless keyboard & mouse Jabra headphones with a wireless connection. My laptop is ready to be picked up as soon as I unplug one little cord. I like it.
What it says it will do, it does. The printer is plugged into this as well as a laptop and two monitors. If I need, I have plenty of room for more. The screen quality is excellent. I'm very pleased with it. We would recommend this program to any working from home person in need of a reliable program. Very happy with the product!.
Recently, I got a new laptop and my old HDMI screen duplicator was no longer working. It started working as soon as I plugged it in! The business is back on track. Currently, I'm using a machine running Windows 10. In addition, there are three standard USB ports for plugging in a mouse, etc. It is just a matter of configuring the display settings no drivers or other setup is necessary. I like it!.
DLNA gives me an option to run two monitors from one laptop, but it extends the display, not simply mirrors it. As a computer programmer, I often work off multiple screens when writing code and I find that having 3 independent screens greatly enhances my multitasking abilities. I thought the price was very reasonable, especially when compared to other docking stations that cost much more. The HDMI adapter lets you connect 2 or maybe even 3 monitors via the USB port of your lap top, if it supports DisplayPort mode. It's sturdy, reliable, and compact, which makes it a nice solution for people who own a lot of monitors.
