There is only support for 30hz when it comes to 4k. There is no support for 4k/60hz with this converter. It is said to do so. There is no support for anything beyond 4k/30hz.

It is such a good hub to use, especially if you own a Macbook Pro, as you will not need to go to the Apple Store to purchase one. There shouldn't be any problems connecting the USB A Keyboard, the USB Pendrive, the USB Bluetooth adapter and the USB SD adapter over USB Furthermore, I connected my Samsung monitor via the HDMI port and I did not observe any reduction in resolution. In case of working out of town, I use the same laptop and two external monitors set up. It was important to me that I would be able to leave the ThinkPad port replicator connected to my monitors at home while I worked out of town only using this one. I was able to use this port replicator with two monitors when connected to my work computer through a USB C to USB A adapter. However, I have a personal laptop with not a USB C interface and it does not work with this port replicator. The reason I returned the port replicator is because of this. Being able to view two monitors connected to my work laptop and to my school laptop is a great benefit to me because I work and go to school full time. It was not necessary for me to use this port replicator as it was only for one computer, my work computer. My two computers will need to work with the two monitors if I want them to be connected through a ThinkPad port replicator. Except for that, it was a great experience.

nbsp I am a big fan of this product. I used it for 12 weeks and it worked perfectly. I use a USB Hub as a laptop docking station when working from home and it works great. My laptop is a Dell XPS 13, without USB ports, which means I cannot use anything but my keyboard and mouse, microphone, and phone charger.
