Questions & Answers

Would you please tell me how many MB/s or KB/s your file transfer speed is! ?

A few seconds in, it would begin to ramp up to around 120MB/s, and then ramp down to 0MB/s and just sit there for a few seconds as it alternated The situation is pretty bad. It transferred at an average speed of 95MB/s on my external hard drive, and it never dropped below 80MB/s, so I believe it is just this flash drive. Based on other comments, I will return it, too, since this seems to be a common problem with them.

Can you tell me about the transfer speed?

The three in my order were assumed to be three, hence my purchase. If they were 0 on a 3, then they would have a considerably faster response time. Embedded devices don't seem to be a suitable solution for situations where file transfer speed is not a critical issue.

Are you having problems with your machine's reliability? How does it stand up to the beat it gives you? There are reviews on other sites that say people have had problems with the drive. ?

My 32GB and 64GB have been on my hard drive for years, but I have given them away since I have the 128GB and 258GB. of them have been very useful to me in my international and domestic travels on top of regular use on the go The office work drives the company. As a result, I am drawn towards the PNY grey lil flash drives, however, I am skeptical about their The product is new and I am still testing it.

Does this drive have a class 10 rating?

In this case, the speed rating is not really applicable to such a device. SD and SDXC devices started on a much slower scale than USB 2 did. Drives are 0 at this time. In addition to the memory used in the flash chip, the performance of the controller inside the drive, the computer to which it is attached, and the destination media required to store the data determine the upper limits of this drive. If you want to copy something from RAM, you should copy it to an SSD, then a regular hard drive, then another USB 3 flash drive. A USB 2.0 device is connected to USB 0, and then a USB 2.0 device is connected to It has a nice aspect when it comes to The problem with USB 0 devices is that even when connected via USB 2, they still behave as USB 1. A USB 2.0 port performs better than a USB 3.0 port A total of 0 devices were attached. The performance of USB 3.0 is far less than USB 2.0. It is helpful to wait even if it is only a small amount. There is evidence that several purchasers run benchmarks to determine the drive's performance in the reviews. There aren't any other UHS 3 SDXC devices that have such high numbers, except for a few expensive and rarely supported

Paper weights are far too light for such an object! You can save money by saving
3/5

As a result of reading the mixed reviews, I decided to roll the dice. I lost. This was received more than two Initially, it was used to update the software on the car, and then some tunes were partially placed on the drive. It worked one time. Now it will not work for some reason. Once you plug the drive into a PC, the PC goes bananas with pop-up windows that tell you to format the drive. (There's no chance there's a virus in the drive. ) I cannot access or format the file. It would seem that the failure rate for reviews is high, so spare yourself the trouble. It is possible to spend a little more, but also The first time I have given a zero star rating!.

A total of 3 or 4 out of 4 Having backed up thousands of digital photos from negatives, I got four of these for each of my family members, so I could send them all thousands of photos
3/5

My booties were purchased in October of last year, so it's absurd. Based on my assumptions, I assumed it would be simple After formatting them, they would no longer work, and as soon as I plugged them into a Windows 7 or 10 computer, the drive appeared corrupted, and I was unable to access any files. I fortunately backup files to multiple locations and also have flashdrives from other companies. My future drives will either be Sandisk or Corsair. I tried saving money on a cheapo 128GB drive, but I ended up spending a lot more money in the end!.

I lost all my scripts, macros, notes that I had accumulated over the past five years of work
3/5

My third attempt at plugging it in got it to pop up and burn up. It was a good buy - I bought two One reason I needed the backup was because I was leaving my old work place, and I had a lot of scripts, programs, and macros that I had created in the past four years. Both are used to hold images of Windows 10, one for 5 years and the other for installation. One is holding the Win 10 image and it is working fine. The one I used to back up YEARS of scripts and macros that I had worked on independently fried after I plugged it in for the third time to do the backup here I was able to back up everything with no problems. I installed it on my coworker's laptop, provided him with the macro, and everything worked fine.

But a week or so later, I realized I hadn't plugged it into my PC to back it up in case I lost it. As a result, I connected it. The sucker had some serious heat! That thing gets really hot. . . a lot hotter than a USB drive should get. Besides smelling of burning plastic, it also smelt of burning rubber. The rest of the day I did nothing with it, but the next day I took it to my office to see if my work laptop could read it - it did - Not at all. As soon as I got home, I tried it on my girlfriend's PC, but it didn't work. She tried it on her laptop, but it didn't work. Trying my best to hold onto it for a few more weeks in hopes that some PC would read the file just one more time so that I could save everything I'd built over the last four There are YEARS of notes, a lot of time saving scripts, things I would come home from work and work on night after night until I went to sleep to refine, which would help me get even faster and more reliable It's hard to accept that I'll never get back the things I've worked so hard for. Despite purchasing more PNY flash drives than I am able to count in the past 15 or so years, I have never had one fail on me quite like this, for something so dear My next purchase will not be this model, certainly not after this experience. As you probably know, I was probably just one in ten thousand that had one fail the third time I tested it. The manufacturing process isn't perfect, so eventually someone will get the one that deviates just enough that it fails at the worst possible time. I'm sorry that I was the one who unfortunately had to deal with this.

The drive is terribly erratic
3/5

I have used dozens of flash drives and thumb drives, but this one is the worst. I have noticed when writing files to it, it will start going reasonably fast, then slow way down and even stop for a few minutes. All of a sudden, the vehicle comes to a halt. Then as soon as it speeds up again, it slows way down again. Stop if you want to As always, thank you for your time. One more time. (Win 10 on a Fast system with SSD and 0 port after fresh system boot I have plenty of RAM, and am not running anything else (didn't even turn off my antivirus) A description of this drive's format is below. It should take *5 minutes for the drive to be written, but it takes 30 minutes when you factor in all the pauses and the like The engine stalls. We tried two more Flash drives after that (and At the beginning, middle, and end How do I/O controllers work? Double-check your work A quick check of the Task Manager made sure there were no other processes taking up a lot of CPU or Ram.

This test fails the random write test

A 256GB PNY Turbo USB 3 drive caught my eye and I bought it. The following is a list of Flash Drives This is FD256TBOP. In the hopes that it would at the very least meet its specifications, GE bought it from Amazon. I found it to be quite unstable when I tried to back up about 50 GB from my Dell T7600 workstation's front panel USB 3. When I used Blackmagic's Disk Speed Test to test the speed of the PNY flash drive, the write speed gauge was very inconsistent. After benchmarking it with Crystal Disk Mark 5, I compared the results. am attaching The following is a list of Flash Drives This is FD256TBOP. I returned the PNY and replaced it with a SanDisk Extreme PRO CZ88 128GB USB 3. 0 drive. It performed as well as the SanDisk Extreme PRO CZ88 as well as an older San Disk Extreme USB3 drive. Also available direct from Amazon is the 0 Flash Drive.
