Questions & Answers
You can copy most video extensions from a file and play them in Real Player, Win Media, etc., or on an internal/external device... It is important to know how much memory a stick has.
mathematics does not work for memory size. If they are 256mb each, then two 256mb chips would be equal to two GB. The advertised amount of storage is 5 GB per device, not 8. Adding them up, if they are 2 gig each, then it should amount to 20 gig. It seems to be extremely misleading, so would like to get it clarified before purchasing.

I use these thumb drives to back up files that I need quick access to without accessing my back up hard drive again and again. I am a Ham operator and I collect too many Ham related things. Since I am a " HamHoarder " by nature, these thumb drives will be ideal. This 10pc bulk pack was purchased from a retailer. It is possible to purchase them in bulk in any size. My kind of junk files are currently stored on every one of the 10 drives, which all work. I certainly appreciate how easy it is to store temporary items with them. One of them has my special demo files in it that I keep in my pocket. The best thing about it is that I can connect it to my cell phone and show my friends my latest antenna project.
My clients bought these to put their photos on to print off for themselves and I was able to load up pictures on them right away and see them instantly, but when they went to load them into their computers the pictures would take forever to load, and nothing would show up. After that, I would try to put it back into my system or another, but there was no response. When you pay for. . . you understand why. . . Recovering lost or junk photos and.
always take a lot of pictures at high school sports events such as football, basketball, etc. at the end of the season to show my appreciation for allowing me practice access and full sideline access to these events. All of my photos that I take all season are stored on these incredible USB drives. My wife and I then pass them on to each of the coaches, and the team mom uses them for the banquet slide shows.
I am very satisfied with these USB drives and will continue to purchase more. As always, delivery is great, on 95% of the items I order from Amazon they arrive a few days earlier than expected. *If you need portable storage devices, you should buy these. * I ordered another package of these USB Drives - I have used four and one has failed. Tom updated March 4th.
Many Linux distributions are available as USB flash drives that I distribute to my clients. I attempted to copy a bootable USB installation disk using an old disk, but after the first attempt failed, I used a new one. Please note that this has nothing to do with whether or not the USB disks can be booted from a personal computer or laptop. In our case, we created bootable USB disks from four of the 10 disks in this package. A set of three Ubuntu ISO images as well as a copy of ReactOS were used to make many attempts. It wouldn't boot from either of my laptops, nor from my desktop. This is an operation I've performed hundreds of times in the past decade without issue. There are few USB disks that work as basic storage devices but cannot be recognized as bootable disks by computers. Even if one of these devices could be converted to bootable disks, some of the comments on this page make me wonder if it would even work across multiple computers.
On these flash drives, I was sending the same large folder of photos to three relatives. It seemed like the transfer rate was extremely slow at first. Each of the three drives took 13 minutes to copy a 4GB folder of images from a desktop to them. However, I copied the same folder to two expensive Sandisks with capacities of 32 and 64 G and it took about the same amount of time. I think burning to a DVD would take about 8 minutes. As of the time of writing, I had already burned three DVDs and didn't carefully record the times. At the same time as copying the folders to the second and third flash drives, I did some work on the computer while watching the progress thermometer. We did not see a slowdown in the transfer rate after the work was done. As a result, the drives are limited to read-only speeds. Despite their smaller size, they are equally as fast as larger, more expensive Sandisk drives. A group of four to seven people copied at the same time. Up to 5 MB per second. Those types of connections work well for small files, but if you are trying to upload large images, it takes long.
For my wife's photography business, these were perfect. Wrapping address labels around the swivel arm after printing her logo on them was her solution for displaying her logo. While she is just starting out and not able to spend the money on custom thumb drives, these look very professional to me.
In order to include a video on these jump drives, I purchased these jump drives. My video needed 6GB, so I bought ones with 16GB to give myself plenty of space. I discovered that I could not load the files through my computer when they arrived. This is the q & a There was a sheet that stated I would have to reformat a video greater than 4GB if it was over 4GB. It is true that I did realize that, but I contacted Tech Support to ask if the person receiving the jump drive has to do anything special to it. In fact, I'm about to be transferred to a third party, as nobody on their tech support team appears to be able to answer the question I consider to be quite simple. They are a good price and a great value if they can be used easily for my purpose of handing out videos, but at first they were much more trouble than they were worth. Finally, I got an answer to my question from the customer service team, so I rated it as a 4. Even so, I do wish we wouldn't have had to have a 20 minute phone call and reformat, as the information wasn't communicated beforehand.
I want to distribute documents and photos to multiple users using Disk utility, but I'm just a bit disappointed (on El Cap and Mojave) that the formatting for file transfer doesn't work effectively ("Erase Failed" and no GUID partition option is available). In the first step, I was able to erase all and format the PC (not quick format) and then was able to format and add files on the Mac for the second step. After receiving a corrupted Mac format, the thumb drives were corrupted upon receipt. This extra step was performed on each of the 20 32 GB thumb drives and it worked fine.
