Although it says it is backward compatible, it doesn't appear to be able to be detected by my computer when I plug it in. Why am I not getting the job done?

Have you plugged in the power cord as well. Connecting a computer to a USB port is a good idea. It is possible to confuse them with HDMI ports on some new ones

Are you capable of using Windows XP?

There is support for Windows XP on it.

How does the program work with a ?

The PC will work, but first it needs to be formatted on the Mac.

The device is small, light and transmits data at a good speed

Thanks to the USB port, the little device is smaller and lighter than a pack of cigarettes, and unlike the old WID models with plugs, it is battery powered instead of being powered by a plug. It took me about 3 or 4 hours for me to transfer my music collection, which was about 50 GB, from my Macbook pro to the external drive.

I bought it for its “2-star rating. " ports are used for. As a result, when out and about and I lose my iPhone, IPad, or FitBit, I will be able to charge more than one item at a time, and the battery pack is small enough to fit in my purse without being a nuisance. IT WORKS for a little while

This machine started acting up a few weeks after I got it. I tried to contact W for assistance. I got that no W without D and keeled. The hard drive was detected as a D and they could not help me with it When my laptop crashed on 17 it had all my backups on it and my music was all destroyed.
