After a month, it has decided that none of my games are playable. On it, it installed a completely new game. That is something I did not give it permission to do. It just went ahead and did it anyway. I was kicked out of the game for no apparent reason. It was suggested that I delete it and try again. I couldn't play it even after that. I had to reinstall it four times. No way, no how, no how, no how, no how, no how, no how, no how, no So where do we go from here? Sledgehammer it to death with a sledgehammer. Worthless.

I have to turn my PS4 on and off and then tell the system to repair the extended storage every time I use it, which is extremely inconvenient because I did nothing to damage the device and it has just sat next to the ps4 all this time. I've only had this device for a few months.

The drive is already dead (clicking, beeping, etc. ) after less than a year. Only a PS4 system has ever been used to connect this drive. I attempted to return the drive under warranty, but Seagate informed me that there is no stock available to replace it. Purchase a Western Digital external hard drive, which is of much higher quality. A hard drive should last at least a year before it dies.

Seagate's customer service is excellent, and their rating has risen from one to three stars. It's possible that the rating will be raised to five stars in the future. After 8 months, the product stopped working, but Seagate support was quick to respond and agreed to replace it. I liked the drive when it worked, but now I'll have to re-install it. All of my games are available for download. br>br>I believe that customer service is an integral part of the product, and if Seagate keeps their promises, which my experience suggests they will, I will upgrade this rating to five stars. To date, I've been pleasantly surprised by the speed and responsiveness.

I correctly installed it and got it working for my PS4, but about 45 days later (after the return policy), my PS4 started receiving error notifications about not being able to install updates on the external hard drive, when I looked into it, my PS4 couldn't even read the external hard drive, and I tried every troubleshooting technique I could find on the internet to no avail. When I finally tried to return it, Amazon refused, and it took me about eight phone calls to get my money back. Don't waste your time and money by buying this piece of garbage.

I'm disappointed that this HD, which appears to have been made specifically for the PS4, only lasted three months. The HD disconnected a couple of times during my use, but I was able to reconnect it. Then, while I was playing a game the other day, it simply stopped connecting. I haven't contacted technical support yet, so I'm waiting to see what assistance they can provide, but it's been a bad experience for me so far. Purchase a different external HD for the PS4 to avoid the hassle.

This lasted me about three months. All of my game data is gone, and I can't reformat the hard drive because it won't let me. Based on other reviews, it appears that these last about three months before they stop working. Seagate, you need to tighten up on your quality control!.
