An external hard drive with 2TB capacity was purchased for my PlayStation 4. This device worked perfectly when I had no space left on my 500 GB PS4. Please accept my apologies for this negative review. It is my preference to give good reviews, which I do almost always, but this piece of garbage stopped working after only 4 months. Many of the fixes posted by exceptional companies like Easeus have not worked for me. The attempt failed. It is a total waste of time and money to buy this Toshiba Canvio Advance 2TB. To call this a "Amazon's Choice" is an absurd thing to say. A nearly perfect score? There is no reason for it to receive less than There should be a minus on the rating. In case you were wondering, I use a number of external hard drives to store my data. The Toshiba I use is an older one and has worked well for me. There's WD, Seagate, Fantom, etc. , so I use them all It has never been an issue. It is a great thing that Seagate and Fantom exist. There are many benefits to using WD external hard drives.
