Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the CD/DVD drive on this computer is capable of playing CDs.
In the back, there is one HDMI port and one VGA port.
It will run it, but all it has is a M for storage. You can add more storage if you want, but I'm not sure how much you'll need if you're going to put the information on the Sage cloud. The M. Because it has two SSDs, it is quick to boot up and run. You may think there is nothing inside the computer when you receive it, but the processor is adequate for a small business.

Because of COVID-related issues, I bought this computer for home use. My daughter will be able to learn from home at the age of 19. I remember when computers cost more than $1000, and this CPU far exceeded my expectations for the price. The monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse, and external speakers all cost $00. br>br>I didn't need any of the extras, only the CPU, and I'm very pleased with it.
This was purchased for my wife to replace her aging (2-year-old) pair of shoes. I had a year-old) Lenovo that died, and I've always had good luck with HP, and this is no exception. The specifications are adequate for browsing and email, which is about the extent of her computer usage. It's fast, has plenty of storage for everyday use, and enough RAM to run multiple programs at the same time without stuttering. br>br>The benefit is that she went from a sluggish spinning disk to a lightning fast M. She thinks I'm a hero because I can drive two cars. This was an excellent purchase.
I like how light, small, and versatile it is; however, all of the HP bloatware and going through their settings irritated me the first time I used it. Just to get on the computer desktop, they required me to create an account. I eventually made it to the desktop and attempted to install some antivirus software as well as some Windows updates. The computer was unable to complete the tasks I had set for it. I went to the task manager and found that the cpu usage was at or near 20100 percent with only 2 windows open 90% of the time. Even my mothers old computer with an older% I made the best decision by requesting a refund and returning the item. It's pointless to spend $400 on a computer that can't do anything.
The computer's back panel has insufficient ports. With all of the protruding wires, the front looks a little cluttered. Everything should be plugged in the back, in my opinion. I don't like how easy it is to access DVDs. Snapping in the disk sideways is a challenge. One of my disks was making a horrible noise as it spun. Aside from that, it's fast and the mouse is responsive. My new mouse had a shorter cord than my previous one. As a result, I needed to bring everything closer together.
br>This machine is extremely quiet, even quieter than my MacBook Air. br>br>However, setting up the machine wasn't easy; I had to make a few adjustments to get it to work properly. IF YOU HAVE AN HP PRINTERbr>If you have a new wireless Hewlett Packard printer, you can easily install it using the HP smart app on the desktop; however, when printing, it will use the Microsoft IPP class driver, which needs to be changed or it will cause future problems. When printing business cards, envelops, and other items that aren't standard sheets of paper, you'll come across a blunder. You must go into device manager and select "Microsoft IPP Class Driver" under printers, then change the driver to a HP driver. If your videos appear to lag and freeze while using Microsoft Edge, disable "Use hardware acceleration when available" in Edge's settings. br>br>If you notice any strange program folders in your documents or pictures folders, right-click, select properties, and hide them.
This was primarily purchased for steaming purposes. The television serves as a monitor. There are no issues with streaming delays, and the device quickly acquires WiFi. All of your photos and music will be stored here. It works well with the sound bar that is connected via Bluetooth. br>It is a lightweight unit. The DVD tray is a little on the thin side. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't snap. br>Because it has an SSD, it stays cool and is almost silent. br>We tried a couple of refirbs and one of them failed miserably, but this one is holding up well. Having a new unit rather than a refurbished unit gives me more peace of mind.
This computer was purchased as a gift for my parents. They use it for simple tasks such as surfing the web, listening to music, and writing documents. It's ideal for these jobs. If you want to do a lot more, you'll need a computer that's more powerful and expandable. However, this is a nice little box for everyday use. It's also small and takes up very little space, which is a plus. It also includes a DVD player, which is becoming increasingly rare these days.
It's also very easy to set up and use. It was a fantastic value. A new desktop was installed to replace the old one. It takes a lot less time. There will be no issues.
