In the first instance, I try to handle things on my own before I call for assistance. As soon as I spilled water on my keyboard, it stopped working I knew I'd need to get a new one. I installed it fairly quickly after it arrived (haven't gotten two-day shipping this year even though I pay for it) and I have been using it ever since. I had removed my old keyboard without considering the position of the ribbon connection until I went to replace it. The ribbon on this new keyboard was about an inch longer than the one I was replacing when it was time to install it. It was awkward to position because of this. The instructions were absent and I was not able to get any help from Amazon (they actually provided incorrect I tried it in both positions numerous times but could not get it to work, so it's not as simple as it seems. However, I was able to fix it and it now works as it should.

A year ago, my keyboard had stuck keys, to the point that it was impossible to type passwords or type messages. My hesitation to buy a new computer was rooted in the fact that this one was otherwise fine for web browsing. Then, I found myself looking for a new keyboard. It was so easy to install and still This was an excellent purchase, it saved me a ton of money. I appreciate it.

This keyboard was purchased to replace a generic Dell keyboard that had broken. It works well, and is clean. A computer that has almost become unusable is made usable again with this program. In a relative sense. Installation is never going to get any easier than it is now, so I give this product 5/5 for ease of installation. Prepare to take your dell apart. You might be able to find a video on youtube that will walk you through it since it isn't the easiest thing.

I was taking apart the laptop without learning how to do it from scratch. A flat connection cable on the keyboard had torn on me. I should have taken my own advice. After some investigation, my customer realized the numlock feature on the original keyboard was turned off. The replacement keyboard worked perfectly with numlock.

There is a possibility that the strip was bent in one direction when it arrived. You may have to bend it the other way to fit It took me a long time to break in this keyboard. There were some keys that were difficult to press at first and there was a lot more noise It appears only one key is currently harder to register than the others.

In 10 years of use, the keyboard on my Dad's N5040 had degraded to the point that a few keys did not respond well, and had to be pressed repeatedly. Entering passwords was particularly challenging due to this. During my search for a replacement keyboard, I came across the SunMall keyboard. It quickly fitted my budget. As soon as it is installed, it is hard to tell the difference between it I can now use my keys without any problems.

It fits and works just fine. The ribbon cable is a bit of a pain to work with, but now that I no longer need an external keyboard, the opening of the laptop is far less challenging and frustrating.

It has begun to exhibit key bouncing on my laptop. My computer became so unusable that I went shopping for a new one. I discovered a replacement keyboard online, followed a tutorial on YouTube, and bought a new one. I could have easily installed the new keyboard in five minutes.
