Having experienced pain myself, I empathize with you. It happened to me that my 2011 MacBook Pro would not charge, and here's how I believed it had a DC-adapter There is a problem on the board. After recently replacing my MacBook's keyboard with the Padarsey keyboard, the battery on the MacBook had nearly drained in normal use, so I plugged in the MagSafe charger to charge but the orange light on the charger kept on flashing without letting the MacBook If the lightning bolt charging symbol was displayed on the battery icon at the top of the screen, I'm not sure how long it was displayed for. As a MagSafe charger worked on a different MacBook without issue, this eliminated the problem as the charger. Having searched on Google, I found a few explanations for how to get the MacBook to charge, including pressing key combinations to accomplish an "SMC reset", or disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it or checking the connection between the battery and the DC-in cable. Since I had recently replaced the keyboard and disconnected the DC-power source, I was living off of one mainboard. The replacement keyboard was fitted with the in-board keyboard, but it failed to work. The MacBook would eventually not start when there was no way for it to be charged. In that situation, since I was happy with the quality of the Padarsey keyboard I had installed and I had nothing to lose since my MacBook was basically a brick, I bought the Padarsey DC-S. It was very easy to install the Magsafe Power Board, and the MacBook has now been charging perfectly for years. Although the old charging board that I removed did not show any noticeable signs of failure (it looked to be fine), the upgrade board did not work anymore. You can replace the DC-DC converter with a few simple tools, and there are plenty of tutorials available on the web If your MacBook Pro is older than 2012, it may be more difficult to work on, so don't worry about taking it apart. Sort the screws for each component, label them, and allow them to be easily reassembled Post-its were used for labels on each bowl, and reassembly was a snap. There was a problem with this part. A couple of millimeters were off in the holes and it was slightly off in shape. Even so, I have seen the same part work in some MacBook Pros. An example would be There is another 2011 A1297 that I have (17" for late 2011) and it looks like this part may fit in your It is important to check the numbers on your old card before using the new one, so be sure to take out your current card first. In 2011, it seems that Apple reused cases from 2009 and 2010 for its 2011 models. There is a change on the case but not in the model that affects the power jack. Clearly it's not the fault of this vendor, but I just want to draw your attention to the fact that you should take out the old jack first and compare the numbers on the PCB to the one in the pictures to make sure it's a match.
You should buy this as soon as you have any doubt about how well the battery of your old macbook will charge. Since 2011, I have owned a macbook pro, and it has never failed to meet my expectations. The old DC in board cracked and turned to dust when I removed the conformal coating on the chipset and the phenolic spacer on the magsafe connector on the board. I think this board is particularly prone to overheating damage during charging. My laptop was fixed for only $10, an impressive fix for an 11 year old model. The install process can be a little tedious. Be sure to have both a #1 philips and T6 torx driver on hand, and do yourself a favor and just loosen the torx screws holding your motherboard to your chassis. Having to do it is a must. If you do decide to fully remove the motherboard, you need not do it all at once. The connector plug for the DC in board can be found on the top side of the motherboard if you gently lift up on the corner closest to the DC in board. Gently pry the plug out with a T6 torx and install the new connector. It is important to place exposed leads on the new plug closest to the motherboard to avoid damaging it. Make sure that you do not bend or crack the motherboard when it is done. The quick and easy way to do this was to simply remove the board, rather than remove the whole unit. I was also able to perform these changes while my machine was In general, unless you have a lot of experience assembling small parts, you shouldn't try this. To be honest, I believe this is one of the best values you can get. Because it's not really all that simple, I gave it 3 stars despite the fact that any do-it-yourselfer could manage it A do-it-yourselfer with half a brain should be able to finish this project in just.
The fit and the functionality of this product are excellent. I used it in my Macbook Pro mid-2011 with no problems I had a 15-inch tablet in 2012. When I made the mistake of thinking something was burning, I was terrified. What remained after the part was heated up were just remnants of something that burned off. The program has been working for me for over 2 weeks without any problems. A genuine Apple charger is being used, not one from a third party. As I mentioned in the guide, I used iFixit to show me how to get to the part. It's a pain, but if you can use a screwdriver and are careful, it can be done, but you have to remove your motherboard to do so. Over $250 was saved by fixing it myself instead of going to Apple.
I'm so glad my laptop is up and running again! My purchase was exactly what I was looking for, what I ordered, and what I received (quite quickly). On the solder side of the board it appeared there was some kind of corrosion, but I had already read many reviews, so I was already expecting this possible problem. I knew a little flux would probably be left over from the previous soldering process and it was nothing to get upset In the pre- It was easy to follow the steps provided by iFixit since I had another Mac right next to me. I even had time to grab a tube of adhesive next to me. It was the same process as when I installed the system. I knew the tools I would need for the job because I did a lot of research before even buying this unit and was prepared for the level of difficulty. I decided on this particular item based on its reviews and because it is priced about in the middle and I am not sure if I can resurrect my laptop. a year when I discovered it. I have been waiting for half a year! )
I'm now using this charger and the Little Big charger to make my MagSafe connection SUPER (Is that better than a ) I gave it a 5 star rating on the "overall rating" and the "value" but only 3 stars on the "easy to install" option. Yet, everyone expected that to happen. The best thing to do is to prepare and have a clear area to work in and a plan for how you will keep track of all the screws you will need to take out and replace. Just a quick reminder (Iso- On some blue painter's tape I wrote the screw locations, then attached the screws to the tape, and stuck the tape to the inside of the bottom case you have to remove in order to mount the screws. Note that some of the screws for the SAME component have a different size, as your iFixit instructions state clearly. I am happy with how everything is going so far!.
There was damage to two different parts of my Magsafe connector on my 2010 MacBook Pro, which made charging a challenge. In general, the part is easy to install, but the procedure to get to the connector is complicated. Do not try this on your own unless you are comfortable doing so. Take it to an independent computer shop that specializes in computer repairs.
In the past, my laptop was not charging. I ordered this part to eliminate that problem. Having determined the problem was the charger, I bought a new one and connected the end that goes into the magsafe port of my laptop first (not the best idea). In the outlet, I noticed a spark when I connected the other end to the wall. In that manner, I somehow shorted my computer. As a result of reading about the role the magsafe port plays in keeping other internal parts from shorting, I decided to order a replacement. My issues were resolved after replacing this part, as I suspected it would. Fortunately, I have been able to recharge my laptop Thanks for the excellent quality and the part that matches exactly what was described. Despite the installation process being tedious, if you have patience and time, I recommend you do so, for you will save a lot of money when compared to a computer repair shop which will charge you for diagnosing the problem. PS In closing. If you are performing any type of internal repair on your laptop, take out the battery before you begin and only use plastic tools metal tools can be very dangerous!.
