My product is no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so I don't expect a refund or replacement. As a result, I paid $300 for a 2012 Macbook Pro. I updated my operating system to the most recent version, and it was noticeably slower. I decided to upgrade from the original 4gb to the 16gb after seeing how simple the RAM installation was. This computer has taken to the air! This RAM is a perfect match for my mid-range computer. It was an inexpensive and quick way to upgrade from the original 4GB (2x2) to 16GB (2x8) on a 2012 Macbook Pro 15. Memory was recognized and has worked flawlessly so far. As of this writing, I've been serving for about two weeks. br>br>The only suggestion I have for this memory's manufacturer is to avoid using those huge labels on BOTH sides of the memory sticks. It would be enough if there were only one side. Labels help to keep heat and dust out, and cutting out one side of labels can save you a lot of money.

Unless I need a new iOS to upgrade my computer, there is no reason. My computer has now evolved into a rocket ship. Slowness was almost entirely due to the old hard drive and ram, not the processor speed.

It was about as simple to set up as anything on a Mac. br>br>In late 2012, I upgraded a Mac Mini with 8 GB of RAM and a platter drive to a Mac Mini with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. The machine slowed to a crawl after the last OS update and was practically useless - even if it's just to browse and read messages without having to pick up my phone br>br>It is now responsive - At the very least, it's as good as it was four years and a few OS updates ago, if not better. br>br>Upgrading the RAM and hard drive took about half an hour (if you have the necessary tools and are familiar with working on Mac Minis or laptops - Otherwise, budget an hour) No major issues, though I did damage the heat shield, but it's fine now, and I figured $100 in RAM and a drive to extend it a year or two is fine because it's my fourth PC on my desk and I only use it for non-critical tasks. I have a mid-2012 Macbook Pro A1278 and this is an excellent product. It only came with 4GB of RAM, which is insufficient for El Capitan to run. I purchased two 8GB chips and installed them myself. It was easy and only took ten minutes to complete. My baby now has 16 GB of RAM and runs at breakneck speed! I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who is unhappy with the performance of their Macbook Pro.

I have a MacBook Pro from the mid-nineties that I use occasionally. It was released in 2012 and had a memory capacity of 4 GB. It was moving at such a snail's pace that it could take up to two hours to complete. Opening Safari and loading a page takes 3 minutes. I did some research and discovered that improving memory might be beneficial. Oh, my goodness, did it ever happen! It functions as if it were brand new, with the exception that the memory has been doubled. It's easy to set up. I was a little nervous because it was my first time using my computer, but it turned out to be very simple. The price was comparable to other sites, and free shipping sealed the deal. I'm glad I took the initiative to do it.

After booting up, I was concerned that I hadn't done everything correctly because everything was moving at a snail's pace. I let it'sit' for a while, then rebooted it, and everything was fine. My system detected the ram as "okay" right away, but I downloaded some test software and confirmed that all four sticks had zero errors. br>br>I'm a big fan of the new look: P. Dbr>br>P. Dbr>br>P. Dbr>br>P. I was afraid I'd break the sticks just trying to get them out of the package because it's so tight. They're fine, but that's a pretty dangerous way to package them.
