There was no bracket included with my laptop, which meant I could not install a second SSD. It was really inconvenient that Dell would always provide me with the part number for a screw when I contacted them. In the following weeks, I discovered a Dell Inspiron laptop forum post that had the same part numbers as mine. To my surprise, the bracket fit the G series inspiron laptops renamed to gaming models. I also found out that the G series is just an Inspiron gaming laptop renamed to G series. So that you can insert the wings into the slot, you sort of have to bend them back. It is definitely necessary for the seller to update the post so that the Dell G15 laptop is supported.

In spite of the fact that it is not an OEM part, you can fit and mount a second SSD by trimming or playing with the fins. Two screws are included in case you lose one, and the part is made from a thin metal so you can trim the fins to fit using kitchen scissors.

You will need this item in order to add a second NVMe drive to an AMD 5x02 or 5x05 (and other AMD models). The product showed up overnight and did what it was supposed to do.

The fact that Dell does not include a second drive mount out of the box is a shame. The item was a perfect fit for the Dell G15 5510. There are two screws included but it could have used one fewer.
