I have been without a WiFi card for far too long since the original one died, so it was worth the wait. Up until I discovered that this replacement card on Amazon could be used for upgrading my HP notebook to include Bluetooth, I didn't know I could do that. There is little compatibility with Windows 8 with this card. 23% of respondents in a Microsoft compatibility poll said that the AR9485 was not compatible with Windows 8. 356 of 530 or 36% said that the AR9485 is incompatible. There shouldn't be much of a difference between AR9485 and Windows 7, but I don't know about the AR9485 compatibility with Windows 7. *** **** ****.

My HP Dm4 T2000 was able to use this well. A card that came with my laptop has failed, and I needed to replace it. The Qualcomm card is the perfect alternative to Intel wireless cards since I hate them.
