Then you'd think it'd be the best in everything, but it's not, as the pin-up girl pointed out. The heatsink is mounted in an unsatisfactory manner, with at least a 20-degree tilt. br>br>It works normally, which is to be expected given the chip's overpriced retail price. br>br>Yes, I needed it urgently and purchased it.

Plug- Play as a stand-in for a two-port unit

So far, everything has gone smoothly; it was a simple unplug, remove, install, and re-plug procedure. 2- a plug from a brand that is similar but not the same unit of portage All of the drives appeared immediately, and the speeds are the same as or better than they were with the other card.

Pros: All drives appear in BIOS without difficulty. br>LEDs indicate which drives are connected and which are not, making it simple to see which ones are. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Optical drives are not supported. Not for me, at least. It's not as if you'd do that with it. Other ideas: br>br> This isn't a RAID controller, so don't get your hopes up. It was not what I expected, and neither should you.

Installation is simple and quick

Faster than usual. No 3rd-party drivers were required to make it work. If you use it in a slim case, the four ports on the top may cause problems. Even with angled connectors, the cover on my computer would not close when I used them. Because that is my issue, I am not deducting any stars for it.

REQUIRES INSTALLATION IN A PCIEx16 SLOT - In a standard pciex1 slot, it will not work

I started by installing it in a PCIe x1 slot. It didn't work out. The light is on, but there is no indication of whether or not it is connected to the drive. It worked fine after I moved it to a pcie x16 slot.
