32-bit versions of Linux, Windows XP, Windows Vista (signed), and Windows Server 2008 (signed) are all available. 64-bit and 32-bit Broadcom's support page has a list of bit drivers. Broadcom is the company that bought LSI and is now known as Broadcom. br>br>Select "Legacy Products," then "Legacy Host Bus Adapters," and finally "20320IE" in the keyword field on the Broadcom support page to find the drivers and manual. br>br>Neither Windows 10 nor Microsoft's download catalog or Windows Update have a driver for this card. The card will work in Windows 10 after you install the Windows Vista driver.
I can confidently state that native drivers are supported by Linux and Omnios (Illumos). I'm fairly confident that BSD will work, and that a driver for Windows can be found, but I haven't tried them.

Over the course of 15 years, I had about 200 backup tapes (4mm, 8mm, etc. ) from SCSI drives, but none of my current machines had a SCSI interface. This board worked flawlessly on Linux and Omnios (Illumos), and I'm now cataloging these tapes in preparation for archiving the critical data while I still have the opportunity.
SCSI was no longer active on the board. A controller of this type was missing from the new board. I looked for a U320 card that didn't have RAID, didn't cost $600, didn't require my x16 PCI slot (I used the x4), and wasn't limited to a regular PCI bus speed for hours. LSI has created an on-demand service for its customers. Many of the motherboards I've used have on-board SCSI controllers, so I expect this card to perform similarly. br>br>In Ubuntu 9, this controller works perfectly. 10 x86- The numbers 64 and 64- Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
This is an excellent small form factor U320 HBA, but it lacks driver support for 32-bit Windows XP and any Windows 7 version. The HBA can be made to work in Windows 7 using the Vista 32 and 64 bit drivers, but there is a long delay (5 minutes) due to a bug in the Vista drivers. Even if you're not booting from the drives connected to the HBA, it can take up to 8 minutes to complete the boot process. I contacted the LSI tech department, and they have declared this device to be end of life, with no plans to provide any Windows 7 drivers at this time. This decision disappointed me greatly, especially because I use several of their products, including a SCSI RAID controller that works in Windows 7 using Vista/Server 2008 drivers. Someone will, I'm sure, hack the driver and figure out how to make it work eventually. As a result, I contacted Amazon and returned the item. ATTO offers a Windows 7-compatible HBA; it's pricey, but it might be the only option for those of us who support U320 SCSI systems.
With an HP EH841A LTO3 inside a Dell PowerVault 110, we're seeing sync at 80 instead of 160 or 320 as expected. Even so, it's a passable performance. I also went back and forth with LSI support until it was discovered that there was a known issue with the SCSI Timeout parameter that was causing RaidPort0 errors with error code 11. If you get this controller, it's best to go into the card's BIOS and change the timer from 10 to 30 seconds right away. Overall, it works, but it doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy.
04, it worked flawlessly. In a Dell XPS 510 running Ubuntu 10, this card performed flawlessly. I only needed to extract data from an old SCSI hard drive (Fukitsu 146). This card worked perfectly (8 GB 10,000 RPM Wide U320). I didn't have to install any drivers or configure anything; all I had to do was insert the card, reboot, and copy the data. The procedure is very easy to follow.
The product performs as expected, and the delivery went smoothly.
This card works perfectly with Windows and Ubuntu on my Dell 2950. I'm using it to power about 8 DLT drives, which handles the throughput.
The item was brand new in the box, not a refurbished or returned item, and it arrived on time.
