This PCIe SATA card can be used to add four 6Gb/s SATA 3.0 ports to your system. Your computer has 0 connected devices. 1 is backward compatible. 5 Gigabits per second (Gbps) and 3 Gigabits per second (Gbps) are the two speeds available.
: A four-port SATA controller based on the Marvell 88SE9215 chip that is more stable and compatible. FIS with port-based multiplier and command-based exchange are supported.
It is compatible with SATA Revision 3. It has a transfer rate of up to 6 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with SATA I/II, as well as SATA6G, 3G, and 1. Hard drives with a capacity of 5GB
WIN10, WIN8, WIN7, VISTA, XP, and Linux are all compatible operating systems. All PCI-E slots can be used with this card. In the case of PCI, this is not the case.
Gen 1i, Gen 1x, Gen 2i, Gen 2m, Gen 2x, and Gen 3i are all supported. Support for hot swapping.

Questions & Answers

Where has the driver vanished to? Why isn't there a website or a link to the latest driver posted?

It clearly states that it is plug and play in the listing. br>Generic drivers come preinstalled with Windows, allowing this card to function.

Is this compatible with the Dell Optiplex 3010 DT mini tower?

Any system that accepts this card will work with this.

Is unraid compatible with this?

Yes, it is compatible with UNRAID. That's exactly how I'm going to use it.

It was great while it was working
3/5

Installed the board and it started working right away. There were no problems at first, but shortly after the return window closed, one of the four ports stopped working. On the "bad" port, I tried a variety of devices, but none of them worked. All of the devices work on any of the other 3 ports, as well as any port on the motherboard. I contacted Amazon and then the seller, and the seller's only response after a few emails is "Dear buyer, hello!" Please accept my apologies; the indicator light is not illuminated, and this port may be damaged. "I guess I'll have to look for a better product and a better seller. " The board was delivered on June 25th and was no longer functional by August 8th; the seller has not offered a replacement or refund.

For a NAS build, this is a good option
5/5

It's being used in a trueNAS setup. Is in good working order, and all of the components are present and operational.

If you don't need RAID and just need a simple SATA controller with more ports, this is a good option
5/5

Pros:
- Low-cost options are included, resulting in a small footprint. a bracket for your profilebr>- Based on a widely used Marvel chipbr>- PCI- E x1 (as opposed to other PCI-based brands) br>- (E x4)- (E x4)- (E x4)- (E 6Gbps SATA III portsbr>- *There is no RAID support or configuration, so there is no risk of data loss in the event of an accident.
- When purchasing the kit, you will receive six SATA cables as well as a power connector splitter, though the splitter is only good for four disks.
- I bought two of them, and they work together in the same system to hold ten disks (I put five disks on each card). br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The power connector splitter included in the kit is designed for four disks rather than six. Instead, two splitters with three ports each would have been preferable. br>br>*I consider the lack of RAID support to be a positive. I replaced the SATA controllers with these because they had a knob on the back that could be turned to set RAID modes or simply act as an expansion. I didn't like it because I always make manual backups and never use RAID, and I was always afraid that I'd turn the knob and accidentally set a RAID mode, causing me to lose all of my data. So, if you're like me and looking for a quick way to expand your motherboard's SATA ports, this card is a great option; just make sure you install the included driver (Marvell 9215).

The instructions could be much more clear
3/5

The SATA ports appeared to work right out of the box without the need for the included mini cd drivers, but in Windows 10, I now have a device in the device manager that doesn't have a driver. I looked through the CD for the correct driver, but there are no instructions on which one to use, and the CD contains multiple drivers.

A low-cost method of adding ports
4/5

I didn't need to install a driver because it worked for me. It's cheap enough to just add a few more sata ports. I haven't speed tested it, so I can't comment on that, but given how easy it was to set up with no driver issues, I'm confident it will be adequate. I wouldn't expect a dual port sata connected to a PCIe x1 port to provide full SSD performance (though it might be possible). I had 6 ports full and needed the extra ports because I have an add-on multi-card device with two sata cables and USB cable hookups- I'm not sure why I need two sata cables in addition to the other cables. I connected one sata to it and the other to a DVD drive; I'm a little wary of these things because I previously used one that seemed to work fine, but when I connected a drive to it to a regular sata port, the drive became unreadable for some reason. So, it appears to be adequate for my needs at this time.

After five days, the BEYIMEI 6 Port PCIe 4X SATA card failed
3/5

For five days, the device performed admirably. Then it stopped working all of a sudden. The Windows event log was clogged with storahci errors, indicating that Windows was attempting to reset the device every minute or so. The device's light would continue to flash, but Windows' reset command would fail, and the device would stop working. The constant attempts by Windows to reset the device rendered the system nearly unusable. For example, it took nearly half an hour to safely shut down the system. The system returned to normal operation as soon as I removed the device. br>br>Incidentally, physical installation of the device was difficult. This device seemed to deviate just enough from standard PCIe dimensions that it was difficult to fit into the PCIe slot without its metal bracket rubbing against the case or the edge of the motherboard, which I haven't seen with other PCIe devices in this computer. After some fiddling, it finally worked and was properly seated in the slot. br>br>It's a shame it didn't work because the pricing is very high. There are few PCIe 4X SATA cards available at the time of writing, and none of them are from brands I recognize.

This is an excellent card, which I purchased because the Asus ROG STRIX Z- 490- A was equipped with a PCIe-based expansion slot
5/5

3 slots of 4x. It's extremely simple to set up. It was detected by Windows 10 Pro, and drivers were installed. I'm using it with a CoolGear internal to external eSATA 4 port PCI bracket that I bought at the same time to run external hard drives for backup, and I'm getting over 1 Gbps transfer rate. Backups now take 2 to 3 times as long to complete. The fact that the card has six SATA ports is a plus. With three 6Gbps outputs, there's plenty of room for more hardware. All of the necessary cables are included in the package.

It really works
5/5

It was a little difficult to get the drivers for Windows 10 64 bit to install because they didn't do so automatically, but once they did, the card worked perfectly. The only drawback is that for some reason, a drive will sometimes work as a hot plug drive, and I'll have to reboot to read it, but overall, it's a fantastic product.
