It is necessary to mention this. There is no limit to 2TB and you can use all of it There is no standard bracket for PCI. We purchased this card so we could use it in a freenas server. I received my first card in a mangled envelope with a padded inner envelope. I tried putting the second card in anyway, but it did not have a standard PCI bracket with which to attach- the PCI slot was the only means to secure the PCI slot to the case. I found out that there was a 2nd PCI bracket that could be attached. There is a limit of 2TB per drive. After returning home, I purchased a Supermicro card which supports 8TB drives, but requires a windows platform to work. Though it wasn't my original concept, it turned out to be effective.

It works as expected, but it didn't come with a bracket. I took off a star for that reason.
