Questions & Answers

I'm curious about the rod's diameter. ?

The round rod has an 8-millimeter diameter.

Is there a magnetic component to the base? Because it would have to sit directly on top of an HDD, I need something similar to this that isn't. ?

There is no magnet built into the base of this single support frame. If you require a magnetic base, look for the following double support frame: B07JKF63XY is a registered trademark of B07JKF63XY.

Will it fry my system if I plug it into my computer and it comes into contact with electricity?

I don't understand why any power would ever strike it; if that is the case, something is wrong. However, given that it is made of metal, I suppose it is possible.

Some reviews and photos claim that this item has branding, while others claim that it does not. I'm not sure which one I'll get. ?

There is no branding to speak of.

It's been built and packaged far better than it should be
5/5

The presentation was absolutely stunning. Because that's where we are with technology today, this is a black metal stick that supports your fat GPU. For your fat GPU, you'll need to purchase a stick. The packaging, on the other hand, was made of thick, dense foam. That isn't required. It's a black stick, as the name suggests. It came in a box with foil lettering on both the front and back. It's a stick once more. It helps to keep everything in place. The foam provided far more space between all of the items than was required. br>br>I'm not a packaging expert, but I believe you could have used a stamp on a ziploc bag and it would have worked just as well. It's a stick, that's what it is. It's nothing more than a GPU stumbling block. Despite this, the thick foam core provided far more space and symmetry than was required to separate all of the components.

Time will tell if my specific metal stick is sufficient, but if they put 10% as much effort into the product as they did with the packaging,% In a black computer case, it looks fantastic. I wish we didn't need it, but RTX 3080s are selling for a lot of money these days. $2400 on eBay, and you'll need something like this because they're so big. It is. br>br>It is. This is a nice stick, but the packaging is the reason to buy it.

Surprisingly well-made now that the branding has been removed! This product is SOLID
5/5

I ordered it for my EVGA 2070 Super XC Hybrid because the card's beefy VRM/RAM heatin and water cooling tubes cause it to sag more than I'd like. br>br> After sifting through Amazon's selection of 'cheaper' but far less durable alternatives, I decided to take a chance on this product, and I must say, I'm impressed! This item arrives in very nice packaging, comes in three pieces (all of which are aluminum), and once assembled, feels VERY solid. br>br>The only thing to be aware of is the size of your case. I'm old school, and my Corsair 750D "Monolith" full tower case is one of my favorites. This item is only just tall enough to reach my gpu in the top PCIE slot, and that's only because I already have fan grills on my bottom air intake fans (partly for aesthetics, partly to keep my clumsy fingers safe). I was on the verge of paying the idiot tax because I didn't measure first, but I learned my lesson.

This is probably the best support
5/5

I used to use a graphics card support that screws in place of the plugs to support the card, but it didn't work out too well because they tended to bend and didn't provide much in the way of actual support. This works a lot better in terms of supporting these massive video cards as long as you have a surface to stand it on in the case. This support is perfect for my NZXT 510 case.

For those worried about sagging GPUs, a simple design is recommended
5/5

This is what I'm using to align my Sapphire Nitro 5700XT with the PCIE slot. It's a 3- I have a fairly heavy fan GPU, and I'd rather not put any unnecessary strain on my nice motherboard. When I reassembled my PC for the motherboard swap, I first noticed the sag and decided that a simple brace like this one would suffice. br>br>It arrived quickly, and I was able to adjust the platform's height by simply testing the height while loosening the screw, then removing it and finger-tightening it. I'm re-tightening it. The base isn't particularly heavy, but it shouldn't tilt at all if you evenly distribute the GPU's footprint on the platform. br>br>Someone else mentioned it, but the stand's overall height is excessive. I don't believe there has ever been a situation in even the most affluent consumer markets where a situation like this has occurred. grade gaming cases where the stand will be used for more than half the length of the stand, leaving the additional height poking out from the platform if it is not modified. It's not the worst-looking thing I've ever seen, but it does look awkward; oh well, at least my GPU now has an antenna. br>br>Aside from that, I'll give this product a 5/5 for doing everything it should without any unnecessary "gamer" branding or other nonsense.

Fantastic pole for support
5/5

However, it is suggested that you trim it down. This is far superior and more streamlined- Unlike the bracket that came with my MSI 3080 Trio, this one is more attractive. It also keeps the GPU in place better than the original bracket, which sagged. The finish is stunning, and the adjustable screw is incredibly secure. br>br>My only gripe is that the pole is quite long, but that's no problem because you can simply trim it down with a Dremel tool, as I did.

For your powerful GPU, this is an excellent product
5/5

In order to play Cyberpunk 2077, I recently built a PC. The GPU I chose was an EVGA FTW3 3080, which is a very large and heavy card. I have a vertical mount, but the fans will be too close to the glass, so I'll use the traditional mounting method. br>br>I played Witcher 3 for a few days before Cyberpunk, and the GPU makes a strange cracking noise when it's under heavy load; now that I've discovered that the GPU is slightly bent, I realize that a holder is definitely required. br>br>I received the product prior to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and it has been holding the GPU for more than a week with no strange noise and no signs of wear. You can tell that the material is strong. This product is recommended for anyone who mounts their GPU flat, particularly if the GPU is heavy.

It may not look fancy, after all, it's just a stick with a small shelf, but it does the job well and is simple enough to adjust with one hand
5/5

br>br>If you're like me and don't like RGB, this essentially disappears inside your case. It now holds a three-slot 2080 ti ftw3 ultra, which eliminates the sag. If you have an RGB-enabled case, you can still hide it by pushing it closer to the motherboard, or even behind the graphics card if space allows. br>br>Even if you don't choose this one and prefer one that looks better, I strongly recommend getting one for any GPU that occupies more than one slot. br>br>Even if your motherboard has metal around the pcie slot to help with gpu weight, some cards will bend it without issue. Buy it! br>br>.

Great product, but it's just a smidgeon short of perfection
3/5

A Corsair 780T case is in my possession. This is WAY TOO SHORT to be used in a sentence. These are manufactured by YATENG (or whoever) in order for it to be TALLER. I'd say 11 inches should suffice. br>Or, at the very least, give the customer the option of receiving a longer version part. br>I had to find something to put under it in order to raise it high enough to reach my graphics card.
