Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with PCI Express 4? How come there are no motherboards?

My gaming mobo is an Asus B550 F, and it's great.

Is it possible to run this card on a Dell XPS 8930 Special Edition?

Yes, one of the configurations for the Dell xps 8930 special edition includes a GTX 1660, according to the Dell website. Because the EVGA 1660 Super isn't a particularly long card, there appears to be plenty of room for it in the open picture.

Is it compatible with the Dell Opteron SFF?

No, the SFF does not have enough space for the card to fit, so it makes do with half-size cards. This is one of the full-height cards.

Is it possible to use this graphics card with an AMD B450 Aorus motherboard?

It should be fine as long as your motherboard has a PCI Express x16 slot (which it does), and your power supply has an 8-pin connector. Regardless of whether or not you have a pin VGA connector!

The Geforce 1660 Super is an excellent graphics card
3/5

Choosing a board should be done with care. br>br>The Nvidia Super 1660 is the best GPU you can get right now. You can play every game at 1080p with the highest settings at 60 frames per second, and the 6GB of RAM provides plenty of memory; even the most graphics intensive games only use 3 gb, so you'll be set for the future. Also, this card is faster than the 1660 (which is a fantastic GPU), but what's even better is that it's nearly as fast as the 1660 TI, and in some games, it's even faster, but it costs less. The 1660 super is essentially a 1660 with GDDR6 memory, but the memory is even faster than that of the TI, and memory is now one of the most important features in video cards, especially since GPU clock speeds are similar across the board. The Radeon 1660/super outperforms the competition, including the new Radeon 5500. The 1550 is nearly identical to the RX 580, albeit a little slower. Unfortunately, ATI does not provide much competition, and the 1660 super is a fantastic card that offers the best value on the market today in terms of performance for the money. EVGA/Board: br>br> br>br>This was my first EVGA product, and it didn't work and kept crashing in video games, so I had to return it. They initially thought the issue was that only one of the fans was showing up in the software when there should have been two (despite the fact that both were spinning), but EVGA later informed me that with this specific card, you can only control both fans, not each one separately. In any case, EVGA sent me a replacement card that worked fine. And, I suppose, the good news is that you can make a deposit and keep your current card while you wait for the new one. I'll say EVGA has good customer service; I had a negative impression of this company/board before the new card arrived, but now that it's working, I'll say EVGA is fine, and the malfunctioning video card appears to be normal. br>br>The card's presentation is a little unappealing; normally, I don't care how a board looks, but it has tacky 'evga' imprinted all over the fans, and the fans appear to be cheap; I believe they could have paid more attention to it. The heatsink appears to be of good quality, even though the rest of the card appears to be solid. Before I bought this, I read a review on techpowerup that claimed the evga fan was the loudest of the 1660 super cards, but only by a few decibels. To be honest, I've never heard the card, but I do have a soundproof case. It runs at a comfortable temperature of around 70 degrees Celsius, which is appropriate for the type of GPU. br>br>Aside from that, the card has a displayport, HDMI, and DVI-I connector. So, if you have an older monitor, this card will work with it. EVGA has also 'overclocked' the card, which is essentially a gimmick in which the GPU's boost rate is increased by a few megahertz, resulting in a frame rate increase of a second. br>br>Video Card Board Manufacturersbr>br>I bought all of my computer parts on Amazon, and everything worked perfectly except for one thing. cards for video In general, computer parts perform admirably and have a high level of dependability. You can get a computer from the 1990s and it will still work fine. For whatever reason, and I don't believe it's well documented statistically, video cards have become the least stable part of a computer now and regularly have issues, so you should pay a lot of attention to reviews and the brands of the card. Also, you should get the most basic version of the card if you can without a lot of extra 'overclocking,' because you'll pay more for these cards anyway without getting it br>br>To sum it up. The GPU is rated 5 out of 5 stars, while the card is rated 3 stars. 5/5. If you can, get the 1660 Super, but choose your board carefully.

There is no shipping box: My only issue with this issue is that it did not come in a box; my $250 product was left without a box
3/5

I've never seen anything like this happen before, and it could have easily been stolen or damaged by the weather. The item is excellent.

It doesn't live up to the hype, and the quality is questionable
3/5

My GTX 1060 3GB was replaced with the GTX 1660 Super. I expected a significantly better gaming experience based on reviews, information from the manufacturer's website, and relevant performance tests conducted by reputable sources. This was not the case in real life. The improvements were minor and did not justify the purchase price. br>br>During my time with the card, I updated the drivers twice, each time performing a clean install. with a clean install of the operating system There was no way to update the firmware. br>br>Must also mention that there was an issue with intermittent artifacts in the browser and game, so there could have been a problem with the card, but I decided to return due to the cost, comparison of my current card's performance, and lack of Ray Tracing support. br>br>If you're running something less than a 970, I'd recommend replacing it. Ray Tracing may also be supported by other major card releases scheduled for later this year. If not, current releases will remain available, with the hope that some of the bugs, whether software or manufacturing process related, will be resolved. In collaboration with Amazon, EVGA tech support was extremely helpful.

There's a lot of bang for your buck here
5/5

It's a great value for people who don't already own a GTX 1660 Ti/ 1660, and it comes with GDDR6 memory on top of the 1660. You can get a free copy of Grip: The Game by going to the EVGA website and registering your card. Combat Racing is a Steam game with an EVGA skin for one of the racers. In terms of performance, it's on par with the GTX 1070, but with less power consumption thanks to a smaller die size (12nm vs 16nm). Overall: I am pleased with my purchase. And EVGA's customer service is excellent; I received a response within 30 minutes of contacting them.

A Budget Card that is a Beast!! The Leader of the Pack! In the midst of the COVID-related chaos, Amazon was fantastic in getting this card to me quickly
5/5

19 greatness from the comfort of your own home. I gave Amazon ten stars for delivery because I believe this card will not be delivered until this situation is resolved, so I appreciate it. I've reached the end of my endurance! br>Review of the Product: This video card is absolutely incredible! I'm getting a 50% boost in Furmark scores from a stock EVGA 1660 XC! In Furmark, I was getting 66 fps max stock with my EVGA 1660 XC Ultra, but now I'm getting 97 fps with my brand new EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super Sc Ultra Gaming. That is 50 a distinction! On Furmark, I'm also smashing 1660 ti's into the dirt. Gaming appears to be the same, but I'm not sure how DDR6 can be so important, but it is. I understand that this card can handle 1440p and may even hold up to 2160p, but in my opinion, this card is a BEAST AT 1080. br>br>I gave my old 1660 to my grandson, who plays a lot of video games, and that was a huge move for him because he was using two GTX 560's in SLI, but this one card outperforms both of them in every way. He's in a great mood right now. br>br>To allay your fears about the sound, keep in mind that while gaming, the temperature never exceeds 65 degrees. The temperature stays around 57 degrees for the most part, and then the fans come on, which I never hear because they are so quiet. Some people have complained about how loud this card is, but I believe this is due to poor airflow or the expectation of a completely silent card, as my experience has been completely silent. Mine has been so quiet that I don't even notice when the fan kicks on because it is so quiet. I've been playing Madden 2020, Battle Front II, Tomb Raider, and Hunter Classic (which is the game that really puts the card to the test). Except for Tomb Raider and Hunter Classic, these games don't max out the card, but Damn, this card just slams them all and doesn't give a damn. br>br>I'll post pictures of overclocks as I go through it, but I should be able to hit 122 frames per second in Furmark with this card. br>br>Bad Ass 1080p card!.
