I'm really happy with it. I upgraded my mATX gaming box by combining this card with an i5-4690K processor. It's 9600k and it's AMAZING. All of my games look great and run smoothly at 1080p with the highest graphics settings. The GPU's idle temperature is around 30 degrees Celsius, and the fans are extremely quiet. The best part is that it's smaller than my old ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4 GB, which means it'll fit in my mATX case much better. br>br>I game on Linux Manjaro, and my only criticism of Nvidia is that it does not work more closely with the open source community; however, they do release proprietary drives for Linux, and they work just as well as they do on Micro$oft. I really like the card. buy it!.

So I upgraded from a 2GB GTX 960 to a 4GB GTX 960, and while it's a good upgrade, it's also about the same price after I think 5 years. It has three times the memory but only about twice the processing power. after five years As a result, the increase in performance in relation to the cost is underwhelming, but the noise and heat make it even worse. Prior to my most recent build, I had TUF components. The dependability was excellent. While this card isn't bad, TUF nowadays seems to be synonymous with a tight budget.

I was hesitant to buy it because the product page featured images with Chinese text. The product, on the other hand, arrived quickly and is working fine on my computer. For this price, I'm getting more than 60 frames per second at 1080p maximum settings, which is more than enough for me. What can I say, these days, nVidia just gets it right. I needed to replace a Radeon card; the card itself was fine, but the software/drivers were clunky and fussy with various video playback that I couldn't stand it any longer. I went with this 1660 Super for around $200 shipped, and it works flawlessly right out of the box, no fuss. It's a smaller card, and it fits in my tiny case in my living room for the HTPC/Gaming box there, so compact cards win big time there. This card is quick, calm, and unobtrusive. nVidia's drivers are excellent these days; you can opt for just the driver or the entire geforce experience, but HDMI scaling works flawlessly even when HDCP is enabled. This is why, in my opinion, nVidia wins. I needed a good gaming card that didn't make a big deal out of getting good media playback (cough, Radeon software). Overall, a great compact, budget-friendly gaming 1080p GPU for under $200!.

While I was building my new system, I bought this card as a stopgap measure. I needed a card that could be swapped in and work reasonably well. The performance of this card astounded me. It worked perfectly on my old system, which had an FX 8350 processor and 32GB of DDR3 1600 RAM, as well as an Asus M5A97 motherboard. It wouldn't surprise me if I installed it in my new build (Asus B450-M). For a test, it would have performed admirably (F mobo, ddr4 ram). It's now in my son's system, along with my old fx 8350 processor, and everything is working fine.

It took me a long time and a lot of research to finally decide on this card, but I'm so glad I did. br>br>This card is a beast at 1080p gaming, and it hasn't stuttered in any of the games I've tried. Overwatch, The Witcher III, and Crash are just a few of the games that have been released recently. Spyro the Dragon Trilogy, MGSV, and the Batman Arkham Quadrilogy - On this card, which is paired with a Ryzen 7 2700x, everything runs buttery smooth at high graphic settings. My PC is extremely quiet and maintains normal temperatures. br>br>I can't recommend this card highly enough for the occasional gamer who still uses an older 1080p monitor.
