Questions & Answers

How much power do you need?

That's a good question, and there's no answer on the Asus website; however, it will almost certainly consume more than 30 watts. TPD spec for the GPU is 30W without overclocking. On-board graphics, as well as overclocking, will consume more power than the rated TPD. Keep this information in mind when choosing a power supply and considering your system's cooling needs. It is correct, as others have stated, that it only draws power from the PCIe bus and does not require a separate power supply. However, this does not imply that it only consumes 30 watts. Graphics cards can draw up to 75W from the PCIe bus without a separate power connector, according to the PCIe specification.

Is Windows 7 compatible?

Yes, that is correct. Win 7 64bit is the operating system I'm using.

Is it compatible with my HP Pavilion a4327c desktop computer?

As long as it isn't a micro or tiny form factor, I believe it will fit on most desktops. It's a nice card, and I'm pleased with it. 6mo old.

Will this work with an Intel Core i5 4430 processor?

It can be used with any Intel processor. The only issue you may have, which I began to encounter with my i5-based computer, is that 2200 a couple of years ago is some of the newer games where I could load the textures but my CPU was running at 100%. If you don't play new games at MAX graphics settings, you should be fine. Make sure you have a PCIx16 slot to connect it to as well. Most people only use their PCI boards to add extra USB ports, so you're likely to have one. I would start looking for a new CPU around this time next year, just as a recommendation. I actually went from an I5-based system to an I7-based system. 2200 to an I7-based system A charity gave me an 8600 for $240. My system has never run so quickly before!

The GT 1030 is a vehicle that has a unique design
5/5

So, what exactly are you waiting for? When my old card died, I got lucky and got this one; it's got to be the year's best video card. This card, which is powered by the pci-e bus, has a low profile and is often compared to cards that require a 6 pin line. e slot. There is no need for a 6-pin connector. My old card, an hd6750, required a 6 pin connector with an 85 watt power supply. The majority of 6 pin cards necessitate 55 to 60 volts of power. The operating power is 90 watts. Only 35 watts are required for this card. And it stands up to scrutiny admirably. This card can play anything at 1080 resolution and medium settings. Smoothly. Low-profile, quiet, and cost-effective. The decision to buy this card is a no-brainer if you can afford it. You'll keep coming back to this card if you do your research; it doesn't get much love in reviews, but it has converted me from an AMD card user to an Nvidia one. On a budget, let your inner gamer out. This card is available for purchase. THIS REVIEW IS INTENDED TO SHOW LOVE TO MY OTHER AMAZONERS.

As a stand-in, it's doing a fantastic job
5/5

This card is part of my heavy-duty deck. While I wait for the new generation of cards, I'm using my duty rig as a stand-in. I like how quiet it is, and the performance to cost ratio is excellent: it can run Skyrim Special Edition at 60 frames per second on the low graphics preset at 1080p, and it can squeeze 120 frames per second out of Synthetik: At 1440 p. m. , the Legion rose. Borderlands 3 was also tested, and it mostly ran at 60 frames per second on low at 540p (which is better than the Nintendo Switch can do with many games). Outside of gaming (which this card isn't really designed for), this card can easily handle your daily computing needs at any reasonable resolution, and for the price, it's a no-brainer as a backup or pick-up card. I'm interested in a system with built-in graphics.

This is one TINY BEAST! THIS GRAPHIC INTEGRATED SYSTEM (GPU) IS A BEAST! This is perfect for my sleeper gaming old optiplex 990mt with i5 2400 16gb hyperX RAM 240gb Kingston ssd and 1tb hard drive with 450qatts Apevia PSU
5/5

It runs Fortnite on medium settings, but with a better CPU, it should be able to run at high quality. It plays Rocket League in high definition, and I'm interested to see how it renders videos, but OMG, the quality is incredible for the price.

Despite the fact that it was released three years ago, it is still a good choice if you want above-average graphics! I recently purchased a basic PC Tower with onboard video, and despite the fact that it has a 9th generation Intel i5 processor, I felt the need to install a dedicated graphics card, especially since I have a gaming laptop as a point of comparison

In 2017, the (Asus) geforce gt 1030 was released, which was also the year that my computer's integrated graphics were released. When comparing the two, the asus geforce gt 1030 comes out on top in every category, including game frame rates, which are more than doubled. Of course, this GPU lags behind the most recent models and expensive gaming video cards, but having it installed in my computer is a significant improvement. It's easy to install, uses little power, and is extremely stable in a 300W power supply! As a result, there is no need to purchase a replacement power supply. br>br>I got the model with just the heatsink (no fan) and it keeps me cool in simple games like CSGO. My photos are now clear and crisp, and my videos and movies are as well. This unit's price is hard to beat, and I expect to keep using it for at least another three years. My home PC has been running for four years, and I will only be updating the driver on a regular basis.

I bought it for a budget gaming computer that I was building, and it packs a nice punch for the price
5/5

It's a fantastic product that went together easily. Nvidia's Linux support is usually lacking, but after installing the Nvidia 381 driver and restarting Mint 18, everything started working perfectly. 1 (Ubuntu 16. 04 LTS) 04). It runs all of my games smoothly, though I do have to turn down the graphics on some of them to maintain a steady 60 frames per second, which I expected given how cheap this graphics card is. It's well worth it for anyone on a tight budget who wants to build a gaming desktop or HTPC.

As a result, I was left with the open source Nouveau driver, which rendered correctly but performed poorly: Due to extensive software rendering to the hardware, browsers became less responsive and games became very slow.
