Questions & Answers

Has anyone tried it out with a 3090 FE? What's the status of the situation?

I just tried it on mine and it works perfectly. Only time will tell if anything goes wrong, but I don't see anything going wrong. br>br>It may not be necessary for the FE because the heatsink design does a good job of keeping the card straight, but for a card that price, it's better to be safe than sorry. I realize this question is almost a year old, but I figured I'd answer for others who have the same question.

When the foot sticker pads are removed, do they leave any residue on the painted metal case surfaces?

It was never removed from the bracket and has remained in place ever since.

What exactly is the function of the top screw?

It aids in keeping the bottom plate in place. Tighten the screw with the slider.

Is this compatible with Aura Sync from ASUS?

I have two of these and an Asus z690 motherboard, and aura sync easily controls the argb leds on the towers. Antec produces a high-quality product that I adore.

Don't buy the cheap stuff if you want to be truly supportive! This is a fantastic device
5/5

I've tried all of the less expensive options, including the magnetic stand, rear-mounted brackets, and so on. This is by far the best bracket I've ever used; it's incredibly well built (even for Antec), and it takes me back to the days when Antec was THE company for high-quality PC accessories. I'm not sure why I'm still typing, but this holds an ASrock Taichi 6800XT without even attempting to lean over. It's simple: buy this if you want a reliable, beautiful, and well-designed GPU support.

My monitor would start to flicker and then go black
3/5

When using this, be cautious. I assumed the rubber pads would work with your GPU, but I was having intermittent issues with my GPU stopping working and my monitors going blank. This had been going on for three months. br>br>I watched a troubleshooting video that explained how electrical surges caused by static could be the source of this problem. I disabled GPU support and have had no problems in the past two months. br>br>I'm guessing that something was creating a connection between my case and my GPU, causing these issues, even with the rubber pads in place. br>br>Unfortunately, it's too late for me to return this.

Because of the cost, it only receives three stars, but it is effective
4/5

It's not a particularly large support bracket; in fact, it's quite small, but it can be extended. It's a smooth extension with clamps, so you don't have to tape it at the bottom. It'll stay put without tape, but if you're going to be moving it around a lot, I'd recommend getting rubber feet pads. If your computer is not taped, be cautious when moving it because it may fall out. br>br>I tried other support stands like this with set screws that don't seem to hold for a long time, but this one seems to be more solid when tightening because it tightens the adjustable arms with a larger surface area to tighten against. br>br>I'm still not sure what that top screw does. I fiddled with it briefly and discovered that it appears to be a set screw, but I don't recall it adjusting anything.

Antec's GPU Brace is very good
5/5

This GPU brace is made of high-quality materials. When I received the base, it was slightly bent upwards, but I bent it back to a level position, which did not appear to affect the integrity of the base or the gpu brace as a whole. The padding around the gpu is nice and appears to be of good quality. It is also very simple to move the padded level. The base of the holder is wide and sturdy enough to keep it stable while moving a computer case. The holder is held in place by the two-sided tape that is included. adhesive pads with two sides It also includes a second set of two-piece earphones. If the first set of pads wears out too soon, a second set can be used. I think a black aluminum color for the GPU brace would be more appealing, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Overall, it's a good product that I'd recommend to anyone who wants to keep a big GPU from sagging.

It's a great idea, but aluminum isn't one of them
4/5

It's a fantastic solution for gpu sag, and it performs admirably! I'm going to deduct a star because this isn't made of aluminum. While putting together my computer case, I used a magnet to pick up dropped screws, and when I placed it near the brace, it stuck to it. As a result, it's most likely made of steel. But, having said that, it works perfectly.

My video card's connection to the motherboard would go a little "wonky" when I used it, but it was still a good product
5/5

" The screen would go blank, and I'd get a message about the video card's connection and "beeps. " " There was an issue with the video card's connection to the motherboard, and I discovered that adjusting and re-adjusting the video card's connection to the motherboard was sometimes necessary. The video card was inserted, which made a difference. I like the product because it has two large feet and sticky pads to keep it in place. Other items I'd bought were reliant on magnets that didn't work properly. I glued the support to my power supply and adjusted the arms to keep the video card firmly in place between the two fans. The video card is securely held in place by it.

For AMD RX 6900 XT Red Devil, it's a solid card that's a little tricky to set up
4/5

I was able to install the brace support for my AMD RX 6900 XT Red Devil beast, but it took a few tries and numerous adjustments (see before and after photos). During the installation, I noticed that the support beneath the GPU was in contact with the card's fan at one point. Because I had already removed the glue stickers from the bottom, moving the base was more difficult at this point, but I was eventually able to move it far enough to eliminate contact; however, I no longer have much wiggle room without the brace touching the case fan. To be clear, the brace does not touch the fan, but I won't be able to move it too far if necessary. Depending on the dimensions of your card and case, your adjusting experience may differ. The video shows the supporter getting very close to the fan without touching it. br>br>In the end, the card is no longer sagging, it is straight enough, and it performs exactly as it should, with no temperature increase or performance degradation.

It fits my dual-slot GPU perfectly, and the base rests on a psu shroud
5/5

br>I used this to brace my GPU during a long car ride, and it didn't move at all, despite the bumpy ride completely loosening every thumbscrew on every side panel. I left it in after the trip because it eliminates my gpu sag and blends in nicely with the rest of my case.
