The paste seems to be electrically conductive, but how can I tell?

An electronic filter is made from a mixture of liquids that act as thermal insulation. As I've tried to apply it a few times, I've become a bit messy. In my experience, the thermal paste did not cause any issues or failures because it got into the AMD pin socket and some got on the motherboard.

Using this to replace the stock thermal paste in my laptop that's three years old worked really well. In order to use the laptop, set it to run on It reduced temperatures from 87 to 65 degrees on the GPU and from 96 to 72 degrees on the CPU when cooling a display with a 25 degree cooler.
