How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
WELL-PROVEN QUALITY: Although the design of our thermal paste packaging has changed several times, the composition formula has remained the same, ensuring that our MX pastes have always stood for high quality.
EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE: The carbon microparticles in ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste ensure extremely high thermal conductivity. The heat generated by the CPU/GPU is quickly dissipated as a result of this.
SAFE USE: The MX-4 is metal-free and non-electrically conductive, reducing the risk of a short circuit and providing additional protection for the CPU and VGA cards.
HIGH DURABILITY: Unlike metal and silicon thermal compounds, the MX-4 does not degrade over time; once applied, it will last at least 8 years before needing to be reapplied.
EASY TO APPLY: The MX-4 is very easy to use, even for beginners, thanks to its excellent consistency.

Questions & Answers

Is it a rgb color scheme?

If you drop acid before applying it, you'll get a nasty reaction. Yes!

How many applications do you think you'll get from a single tube?

4 years after purchasing a 4g tube, I still have more than half of it left - IIRC, it has a shelf life of eight years. I haven't kept track, but I believe I've completed at least 5 applications and am still half way through the tube. The crazy thing is that you can get the 8g tube directly from Amazon for $1 less than you can get the 4g tube from the other seller right now - It appears as if this is a foregone conclusion. This is fantastic.

How long will a computer repair technician's thermal compound paste last? Because the tube appears to be so small, will it be completed quickly?

The tube may appear small, but given the amount of CPUs you'll need, you'll easily be able to cover more than a few dozen (depending on the size of your CPU, of course)! Only a small amount of paste is needed, and it should be evenly distributed. It occurred to me that a pea-sized pea-sized pea-sized pea-sized Because so much of the material sticks to the tool, a sized blob of paste may already be too much! br>br>I don't recommend putting a blob in the middle of the CPU and then applying the heat sink on top of it in the hopes that the paste will spread out on its own: a) The paste may not be evenly distributed, resulting in hot spots; b) You have the option of wasting data that would otherwise run outside the CPU's boundaries. br>br>According to the manufacturer, an 8-year warranty is available. durability for a year I can't comment on that because I haven't used it for a long time.

Does this paste hold the heat sink on a Blackberry Pi device by itself, and if so, how long does it take for it to cure to the point where it holds the heat sink like glue?

Because this is not a thermal glue, it will not hold its shape after drying. Pi devices rarely generate enough heat to necessitate more than a small amount of airflow. Are you certain a heat sink is required? Check out Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive, which will provide better adhesion than this.

I decided to give this one a try after reading test results from various tech sites and based on my previous experiences with other thermal pastes
5/5

My conclusion is as follows: 1. br>br> In terms of application, this one is superior. The spatula that comes with the kit is a nice touch, but I don't think it's necessary. I understand that discussions about how to apply thermal paste can get heated, but it is clear to me that the "big blob" method, especially with this paste, works well. Please do not set fire to me if you worship at another thermal paste application method altar.
2. ) This small tube can be used in at least four different ways. Large GPU dies and large IHSs are included in this category. Even if you use it in the manner of that guy from The Verge. Don't make the same mistake as that guy. I mean it!
3. ) This paste has excellent thermal performance. You can find pastes that are 2C better, but only if you are willing to spend more money for less product and/or do some actual work to apply them.
4. ) In light of the non- Because of the tube's drying nature, I think I'll be able to finish it in a year or two. I've thrown away a lot of half-filled tubes because the bit in the syringe tip had hardened. I could drill a hole in the tip to get past the dried bit, but I don't want to risk a microscopic blob of hard paste interfering with my thermal interface. I'm confident that I'll be able to finish this tube of product at some point.
5. ) The following are my findings (at 22°C ambient):
a. ) i7- 5820k @1. 32V, 4. 7 GHz: idle: 100% load from AIDA64: 27C, 100% load from AIDA64: 70c max. That may seem excessive, but it is a massive overclock on a massive (at the time) CPU. That's almost 250W through a 140W part, compared to 30C at idle and 90C under load when I was using a Dark Rock Pro 3. Of course, on air, I couldn't achieve such a high overclock. br>b) GTX1080 @2025 GHz, mem @ 11,400 GHz, effective 26°C idle, 40°C under load. Previously, I was getting 35 degrees idle and 85 degrees load (with frequent thermal throttling)br>6 (with the stock air cooler). ) While I consider the included spatula to be superfluous in my religion, it comes in handy when mixing epoxy. br>br>Here are the features of this thermal paste that I don't care for:br>1. ) It's not in the RGB color space. RGB thermal paste is what I'm looking for. br>2. ) It has a terrible flavor.
3. ) It is ineffective as a contraceptive. br>br>However, you should strictly adhere to the directions. You'll be pleased with the results if you do. br>br>Update: Because I'm almost out, I'm going to buy some more. The 4g size is ideal if you only have one or two jobs to do and want to keep some on hand. If you're anything like me, you'll want to get the 8g size, which is around $10 if you use the correct Amazon listing.

This Stuff Is Actually Effective
5/5

I got a fantastic deal on a pre-owned gaming laptop. Because the floor models are on all day, I needed to clean it up and add a few upgrades. When I opened up the computer to reveal the CPU/GPU, the original stock thermal paste was barely visible. When the computer was turned off, my temperatures were extremely high. I checked the performance after putting a pea-sized dot on the CPU and a line on the GPU. In idle, my temperature plummeted by about 20 degrees. It was impossible for me to believe what I was hearing. I must have given this computer a ridiculous amount of life simply by replacing the stock paste and applying the MX-MXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXMXM I was going to just put a thermal pad on it, but I am glad I went with this paste. 100%!.

I have a fairly new gaming laptop, and I was recently watching some videos that showed me how to re-install Windows on it. pre-made paste Why should you re-build your gaming builds, including laptops? they should be pasted br>br>So, thanks to online reviews and videos, I discovered that my gaming laptop was running at high temperatures, with peaks of 98 degrees Celsius (208 degrees Fahrenheit). br>Even with a laptop cooling pad, my system was almost burning on idle (this was from day one when I bought it new). br>br>Turns out HP and many other manufacturers are applying bad thermal paste, causing systems to fail early,br>br>See photos i br>After removing the old paste (which was extremely messy and did not adequately cover the CPU), I applied the MX-X paste. 4 Arctic paste to the GPU and CPU dies before the CPU and GPU system core temperatures: Idle temperature is 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit) and maximum temperature is 98 degrees Celsius (208 degrees Fahrenheit). a peak of 4 oFbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br 4 Arctic Processor and Graphics Card (CPU and GPU): 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) at idle and 75 degrees Celsius (167 degrees Fahrenheit) at maximum. br>br>MX- 4 Verdict:br>br>For $10, you can get some good MX-style tires. This is the best thermal paste I've ever used! Using the MX-II, I was able to get a 12C difference
5/5

In comparison to other products I've tried, this one gets a 4 out of 5. This is something I strongly suggest you do. This is what I'm using with a Corsair H100i V2 and an Intel i7 8700K processor. At idle, the temperature is 22 degrees Celsius, and at full load, the temperature is 55 degrees Celsius.

If you spend a lot of money on a computer, don't use stock thermal paste; it's such a simple, easy thing to do that I can't imagine why someone wouldn't use a good paste like this
5/5

I tried running AI Suite when I first got my computer with stock and it wouldn t go over 10% overclock; I tried running AI Suite when I first got my computer with stock and it I replaced the heat sink paste that came with the AIO cooler and it worked perfectly until 2015%. Help protect your expensive computer components by using a paste that has better heat transfer and a longer lifespan.

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

The tube was simple to use, applied quickly, and came with two spreaders. Everything appears to be in working order, and the machine is performing admirably. It's an older Optiplez 755 with a quad-core Intel processor, and the heat sink material has hardened. The price was reasonable, and the delivery was prompt.
Note: I installed it on my computer's processor and began playing Diablo III. I could only play for about 5 minutes before the CPU shut down due to overheating because the fan wasn't turning on (this was before I even bought the Paste). Even though the fan is still broken, I can play Diablo for nearly half an hour without using it after cleaning off the old stuff that was like hardened clay consistency and spreading this on. That in itself tells me how well this stuff works.
